UNIFIED Music Group & blaide.live Present:

One of India’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, Anuv Jain, has returned to Australia in with his Dastakhat World Tour, his first-ever world tour and most ambitious live production to date.

Following the overwhelming success of his previous Australian tour in 2024, Anuv returned to Australia last night with a sold-out performance in Perth (Boorloo), supported by Reuben De Melo, kicking off a highly anticipated run of shows across the country. The tour now heads to Sydney (Eora), Melbourne (Naarm), Adelaide (Tarntanya) and Brisbane (Meeanjin), giving audiences another chance to experience the intimate storytelling and heartfelt performances that have established Anuv as one of the defining voices of a new generation of independent artists.

Joining him across the tour are a carefully curated lineup of local support acts, including Into The Unknown, ZAV-E, Jessie Hill, Sarhad Project and Hazel Mei. Jessie Hill will open both the Sydney and Melbourne dates, with Sarhad Project also joining in Melbourne. Adelaide’s sold-out show will feature Into The Unknown and ZAV-E, while Hazel Mei will support in Brisbane. With Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane all selling fast and Adelaide already sold out, the tour continues to build on the incredible momentum of Anuv’s return to Australia.

From the reflective beauty of Baarishein, which first introduced his music to millions, to global favourites including Husn, Afsos and Jo Tum Mere Ho, Anuv has built a catalogue that transcends language and borders, with his music having amassed more than 4 billion global streams, cementing his place as one of India’s most influential independent artists. Singing primarily in Hindi and Punjabi, he explores themes of love, heartbreak, nostalgia, and hope in his deeply personal songwriting, connecting with listeners around the world through emotional honesty.

The Dastakhat World Tour represents the final chapter in Anuv’s acclaimed trilogy of live tours, following Dastakein (2021) and Guldasta (2023). Each title reflects a stage of his artistic journey from his first “knock” on listeners’ hearts to a bouquet of songs that blossomed into his signature sound, culminating now in Dastakhat, his personal signature. More than a concert series, the tour marks both the culmination of Anuv’s journey so far and the beginning of an exciting new era, with new music expected later this year or in early 2027.

Known for transforming intimate acoustic songs into unforgettable live experiences, Anuv’s concerts are celebrated for their warmth, authenticity and emotional connection. With atmospheric lighting, immersive production and an effortless stage presence, every performance feels less like a traditional concert and more like a shared conversation between artist and audience.

Having sold out shows across India, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, New Zealand, and Canada, and performed at renowned venues including Mumbai’s NSCI Dome and Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, Anuv is excited to be returning to Australia.

Beyond his music, Anuv has been recognised among Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 and GQ India’s 35 Most Influential Young Indians. His collaborations with Coke Studio Bharat, UN LIVE’s Sounds Right, AP Dhillon and Lost Stories have further established him as an artist helping redefine India’s contemporary independent music movement on the global stage.

With a growing international audience and a catalogue of songs that continue to resonate across cultures, the Dastakhat World Tour 2026 promises an unforgettable evening of music, emotion and connection.

Angus & Julia Stone release new single ‘Celestial Bodies’ ahead of forthcoming album Karaoke Bar

written by the partae

As anticipation builds for their forthcoming album Karaoke Bar, Angus & Julia Stone share ‘Celestial Bodies’, the third single from their seventh studio album, arriving September 4 via Virgin Music.

Following the release of ‘Karaoke Bar’ and ‘Monroe’, ‘Celestial Bodies’ ventures into more expansive territory, pairing hypnotic rhythms with dreamlike lyricism as Angus & Julia Stone contemplate life’s unknowable questions. Built around a pulsing groove and their unmistakable vocal interplay, the track explores the search for meaning amid the beauty and chaos of existence.

‘Celestial Bodies’ also traces one of the longest creative journeys of any song on Karaoke Bar. It first took shape on the Greek island of Hydra, during an evening when Saharan sands drifted across the Mediterranean and turned the sky a striking shade of red. From there, the song evolved at the legendary Miraval Studios in the south of France before finally finding its home back in Australia at Angus’s Sugarcane Mountain Studio in the hinterland of New South Wales. There, alongside close collaborators, the duo completed a song driven by an underlying pulse beneath lyrical reflections on “what the hell this life is all about.”

Angus speaks of the song, “lyrically it’s an amalgamation, a bit of melting pot for everything we’re going through in life as a collective. Celestial Bodies itself, the words, that’s what we are in essence, we’re all stardust. We’re all atoms bouncing around trying to figure who we belong with, the meaning of it all.”

Written and recorded across Greece, France and Australia, Karaoke Bar captures a collection of songs shaped by movement, instinct and place. Each environment left its own imprint on the record, resulting in an album that feels both deeply personal and quietly expansive – balancing moments of intimacy with broader reflections on connection, memory and the passage of time.

Since emerging with A Book Like This in 2007, Angus & Julia Stone have established themselves as one of Australia’s most internationally beloved musical exports. Their 2010 breakthrough Down the Way debuted at number one in Australia and introduced the timeless ‘Big Jet Plane’, while subsequent releases – including collaborations with Rick Rubin and their ARIA Award-winning soundtrack work on Life Is Strange – have continued to showcase their evolving artistry and enduring creative partnership.

Their most recent album Cape Forestier (2024) marked a return to recording on home soil, before taking the duo across Europe, the UK and North America on a sold-out world tour that included London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris’ L’Olympia and New York’s Town Hall.

With ‘Celestial Bodies’, Angus & Julia Stone continue to reveal the emotional and sonic landscape of Karaoke Bar – an album that embraces life’s unanswered questions as much as its moments of quiet certainty. Karaoke Bar arrives September 4.

Live Nation’s ONES TO WATCH returns to champion the next wave of Australian music, where emerging talent, culture and craft collide. Rooted in the creative community, the program celebrates the connection between artists and audiences while continuing to support developing talent both on and off the stage.

Returning to Melbourne on Wednesday 5 August, the globally renowned music discovery event is set to hit the inner north’s latest music hotspot, the newly launched Smith St. Hotel. Positioned in the heart of a Melbourne corner synonymous with live music and nightlife, the venue will welcome punters back through its doors at the end of July, just days before hosting the showcase.

Showcasing their talents at this edition of ONES TO WATCH are three incredible artists whose foundations of influence are diverse as they are captivating.

Fusing a love for hip hop, jazz, soul and alternative together with an innately personal brand of storytelling, the now Melbourne-based artist MILES NAUTU has been enjoying a prolific rise within the Australian space across the last year. HIs debut EP the front introduced audiences to a vital young songwriter and performer. Inspired by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Yasiin Bey and Joey Bada$$, Nautu’s output has seen the Indigenous Australian/Fijian artist perform at the Sydney Opera House for VIVID Live this year, as well as the upcoming Move My Way Festival in October, alongside genre trailblazers including Ezra Collective and Freddie Gibbs.

Sydney alt-pop artist GAZAL has emerged as one of the East Coast’s most commanding new voices, with a presence on record and stage reminiscent of fka Twigs, Doechii and Lykke Li. The Lebanese/Australian performer has become known for her music, emotionally charged and fearless, as well as her songwriting pen. Collaborations with the likes of Dan Gleyzer (SZA, Sabrina Carpenter), Aidan Hogg (G Flip), George Alice, Vera Blue and more have only sharpened GAZAL’s songwriting perspective and artistry. With over 15 million TikTok views and global support for her latest EP Gods Into Frauds, GAZAL is stretching her wings further into 2026.

Melbourne’s LARA BUCHANAN has drawn sonic comparisons to artists including Ethel Cain, Wolf Alice and Lorde, yet as her sound has continued to evolve in recent years, it’s evident that this young artist is pushing herself into new territory with each release. Her lyrics are deeply personal, observations on the world and life experiences as a young adult navigating the world and change. Projects like the Sugar Coated Fantasy EP introduced audiences to Buchanan’s commanding sound and as 2026 continues, the excitement surrounding this artists continues to build.

“American Apparel® has long been the unofficial uniform of the local music scene, making it a natural fit for ONES TO WATCH and its mission to spotlight artists who are redefining the status quo”
David Hillen – Director, Gildan Brands APAC.

Paul Lynch & Emily Taylor, Promoters, ONES TO WATCH, Live Nation APAC said: “ONES TO WATCH exists to champion developing artists at pivotal moments in their careers. It’s been great to see our partnership with American Apparel® come to life, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in Melbourne—giving more emerging talent a platform to be seen, heard and discovered.”
