One of India’s most celebrated singer-songwriters, Anuv Jain, has returned to Australia in with his Dastakhat World Tour, his first-ever world tour and most ambitious live production to date.
Following the overwhelming success of his previous Australian tour in 2024, Anuv returned to Australia last night with a sold-out performance in Perth (Boorloo), supported by Reuben De Melo, kicking off a highly anticipated run of shows across the country. The tour now heads to Sydney (Eora), Melbourne (Naarm), Adelaide (Tarntanya) and Brisbane (Meeanjin), giving audiences another chance to experience the intimate storytelling and heartfelt performances that have established Anuv as one of the defining voices of a new generation of independent artists.
Joining him across the tour are a carefully curated lineup of local support acts, including Into The Unknown, ZAV-E, Jessie Hill, Sarhad Project and Hazel Mei. Jessie Hill will open both the Sydney and Melbourne dates, with Sarhad Project also joining in Melbourne. Adelaide’s sold-out show will feature Into The Unknown and ZAV-E, while Hazel Mei will support in Brisbane. With Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane all selling fast and Adelaide already sold out, the tour continues to build on the incredible momentum of Anuv’s return to Australia.
From the reflective beauty of Baarishein, which first introduced his music to millions, to global favourites including Husn, Afsos and Jo Tum Mere Ho, Anuv has built a catalogue that transcends language and borders, with his music having amassed more than 4 billion global streams, cementing his place as one of India’s most influential independent artists. Singing primarily in Hindi and Punjabi, he explores themes of love, heartbreak, nostalgia, and hope in his deeply personal songwriting, connecting with listeners around the world through emotional honesty.
The Dastakhat World Tour represents the final chapter in Anuv’s acclaimed trilogy of live tours, following Dastakein (2021) and Guldasta (2023). Each title reflects a stage of his artistic journey from his first “knock” on listeners’ hearts to a bouquet of songs that blossomed into his signature sound, culminating now in Dastakhat, his personal signature. More than a concert series, the tour marks both the culmination of Anuv’s journey so far and the beginning of an exciting new era, with new music expected later this year or in early 2027.
Known for transforming intimate acoustic songs into unforgettable live experiences, Anuv’s concerts are celebrated for their warmth, authenticity and emotional connection. With atmospheric lighting, immersive production and an effortless stage presence, every performance feels less like a traditional concert and more like a shared conversation between artist and audience.
Having sold out shows across India, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, New Zealand, and Canada, and performed at renowned venues including Mumbai’s NSCI Dome and Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena, Anuv is excited to be returning to Australia.
Beyond his music, Anuv has been recognised among Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 and GQ India’s 35 Most Influential Young Indians. His collaborations with Coke Studio Bharat, UN LIVE’s Sounds Right, AP Dhillon and Lost Stories have further established him as an artist helping redefine India’s contemporary independent music movement on the global stage.
With a growing international audience and a catalogue of songs that continue to resonate across cultures, the Dastakhat World Tour 2026 promises an unforgettable evening of music, emotion and connection.
