RayRay is known as Taiwan’s finest (and loudest) musical exports, undoubtedly one of the hottest rising DJ’s and producers in the world. Cementing her status with explosive releases, bookings and signature work ethic which continuously spans across the global electronic music map. With a proven successful track record, she collaborates once again with the fast rising and respected Rotterdam, Netherlands based duo known as Out of Cookies.
RayRay and Out of Cookies are both commonly associated with the support of Yellow Claw, honing them as members of the Dutch imprint known as the Barong Family. This is where their proven success in joining forces was highlighted in their collaboration on “Watch Out”. Which quickly turned into one of the most hyped tracks on RayRay’s “Alien Mutation EP” previously released through the Barong family.
This time RayRay returns for her second release on the Dutch imprint known as Tribal Trap. Showcasing a new powerful collaboration with Out of Cookies, titled “Keep it 100”.
A hard-hitting hybrid trap banger curated within an array of genre influences. Described by RayRay as “a good balance between hard drop and soft break with a swag attitude”. It also incorporates genre elements of both Dubstep as well as mixing in old and new Jungle/ Drum & Bass sounds. Translating to an unforgettable sonic experience, showcasing the diversity in the production behind these artists.
Pulling the pieces together it features RayRay’s own vocals that she has been diligently fine tuning to incorporate in her own music since 2021. Out of Cookies explains how they were blown away when hearing her vocals and immediately fell in love once hearing them on the breaks of Keep it 100. This is when the track truly fell together.
Making a strong start to 2022, and keeping it 100 in everything they do.
