TELENOVA Announce debut EP Tranquilize EP Tour Dates Announced

Melbourne three-piece Telenova today announce their debut EP Tranquilize will be released Friday 2nd July via Pointer Recordings / Remote Control Records. Off the back of their sold-out ‘Bones’ single tour, and to celebrate the EP release Telenova will return to Sydney and Melbourne, as well as playing debut shows in Brisbane and Adelaide. Full tour dates below, tickets on sale this Friday.

The EP announcement follows on from the bands two singles ‘Tranquilize’ and ‘Bones’. Both singles have seen incredible support from Spotify (including New Music Friday AUNZ, Indie Arrivals, Broad Chords [cover], Fresh Finds AUNZ, Radar AUNZ, Just Chill, Local List, Office Stereo), Apple Music (Heaps Indie, Alt Pop, New In Indie, New Music Daily, Indie Anthems, indie & chill),  Amazon (Australia Now, Breakthrough Australia), and Soundcloud (Fresh Pressed Australia, Emerging Indie, Soundcloud Radio). ‘Bones’ has remained in the Top 50 most played tracks on triple j since release, and both singles have seen consistent support from community radio across the country with recurring appearances in the Top 10 AMRAP Metro Chart. Assembled by Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie) at an APRA SongHubs writing camp in early 2020, Telenova combines the alluring vocals of multi-disciplined creative Angeline Armstrong, alongside the refined musicality of Edward Quinn (Slum Sociable) and Joshua Moriarty (Miami Horror). With an air of quiet confidence, thanks to their self-directed cinematic aesthetics and trip-hop influenced production, Telenova trade in a sound that’s unequivocally Melbourne yet global in scope.
