OUTSIDE is the new five track EP from Marston and Baldi, exploring the complexities of relationships, the search for connection and the process of finding your way back to yourself.
Moving between indie pop melodies, electric guitars and new wave atmospheres, the EP explores the tension between wanting to escape and needing to belong. Its songs navigate complicated relationships, emotional confusion, late night conversations and the moments of unexpected tenderness that can change how we see ourselves and others.
Across OUTSIDE, Marston and Baldi examine the push and pull of relationships, from the frustration of repeating the same conversations to the courage it takes to fall in love and leave the past behind. Beneath these tensions is a sense of warmth and the possibility of personal change, as the record considers how connection can open doors we never realised were closed.
The EP features five tracks: “Outside”, “Tell Me Something”, “Tears Of Joy”, “Hope In The Darkness” and “Take Me Down”.
All five tracks were written and composed by Giorgio Baldi and Matthew Marston, with Gabriele Ratti also credited as a writer and composer on “Hope In The Darkness”. Giorgio Baldi produced and mixed the EP, with artwork by Maddalena Baldi.
With OUTSIDE, Marston and Baldi offer a record about embracing the contradictions of being human, stepping away from the noise and finding a way forward.
