After 23 editions, NYE on the Hill is coming to an end, with this year’s event set to be the final chance to gather on the Hill.
What began in 2009 as a small invite-only party for Melbourne bands and their friends grew into an annual celebration bringing together around 3,000 music lovers for a weekend of live music, friendships and good times.
Across the journey, more than 600 bands and over 2,500 musicians and performers have appeared at the event, with the Hill also providing a first festival stage for many artists.
The final NYE on the Hill will be a chance for the community that has grown around the event to come together one last time and celebrate the people, music and memories that have shaped it over the years.
The organisers are encouraging everyone who has been part of The Hills Are Alive and NYE on the Hill journey to return for one final gathering.
