NYE ON THE HILL ORIGIN STORY NYE on the Hill grew out of The Hills Are Alive Festival, a unique and much-loved event that began as an invite-only party on a hill for 334 music-loving friends-of-friends (many of whom were musicians in the local Melbourne music scene). The original concept, which still thrives today, is that anyone, at any time, should be able to turn to the person next to them, introduce themselves, and then party together like old friends while discovering the best up-and-coming musical talent the region has to offer. |
