Nahko And Medicine For The People have released their meditative and self-reflective new single “Twisted,” the newest song from their forthcoming album ‘Take Your Power Back’, out May 15 2020 on Medicine Tribe/SideOneDummy Records (through Cooking Vinyl Australia).

Throughout “Twisted”, Nahko strives for inner and outer growth and faces the challenges that come from self-forgiveness. “You are no exception, you’ve got to love yourself,” he sings. Nahko told Billboard, “QUOTE.”

“Twisted” follows early album singles “Garden,” “Lifeguard,” and “Slow Down” which have earned praise from Paste, Relix and American Songwriter. Upon release, the latest single “Garden” landed on multiple New Music Friday playlists, including Spotify’s Renegade Folk and Apple Music Alt – Hot Tracks.
This year, Nahko And Medicine For The People will build upon an already extensive touring history which includes performances at festivals like Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and more with a performance at Lollapalooza Chile in March and Forecastle Festival in July with more to come soon.
