by the partae

Laneway Festival will return in 2027 with a new touring route, adding Sydney to the festival’s schedule for the first time.

The festival will open its 2027 run in Sydney at Centennial Park on Friday, 12 February. Located near Oxford Street and accessible by light rail, Centennial Park will provide the setting for Laneway’s first Sydney event.

The festival will then head to Brisbane, taking over the Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, 13 February for its multi-stage celebration of music across multiple genres.

The following week, Laneway will return to Melbourne, where the festival began, with its long-time home at Flemington Park hosting the event on Friday, 19 February.

Laneway will then cross to New Zealand for the final stop of the 2027 tour, with Auckland hosting the festival at Western Springs on Sunday, 21 February. The event will take place across the newly refurbished Western Springs Bowl and Western Springs Park.

The Laneway Festival 2027 lineup will be revealed in late September, with the festival promising a mix of emerging and established artists from around the world.

For now, the dates are locked in, with the full lineup to follow in September.
