Sydney electronic artist Harry Hayes has released his new single ‘Moolah’, out now via LOVE CLVB.
The track premiered on triple j’s Drive ahead of its release and is described as a euphoric electronic track built around themes of joy, euphoria and melancholia. Hayes says the song was created with the intention of embracing those emotions while bringing a sense of fun back to dance music.
“‘Moolah’ is a song that fully embraces what it is,” Hayes says. “It’s an exploration of pure joy, euphoria and melancholic touch points under the guise of dance music.”
The release follows previous singles ‘I Did You Wrong’ and ‘We Go So Good Together’, which have helped Hayes build an audience that includes Fred again.., Floating Points and Caribou. Caribou also invited Hayes to support the Australian leg of his 2025 tour, with Hayes subsequently releasing an official remix of Caribou’s ‘Broke My Heart’.
Hayes’ music has been characterised by carefully constructed arrangements and rhythms, incorporating pop-inspired melodies, ambient soundscapes and club-focused elements. His stated influences span house, UK garage, indie, jungle and French touch.
The release of ‘Moolah’ arrives ahead of Hayes’ first headline show, with the Sydney date set for September 12 at Civic Underground. He will then head to the UK in October, with dates scheduled in Manchester, London and Dublin, alongside additional appearances.
Hayes is also scheduled to appear at Mode Festival, Pandemonium Festival, the national Spilt Milk tour, Rhythm & Vines in New Zealand and Lost Paradise.
With ‘Moolah’ now available, Harry Hayes enters the next stage of his run with a headline debut and a series of Australian, UK and New Zealand appearances ahead.
