With the 15th annual Gum Ball fast approaching comes the announcement of more acts confirmed to join the festival over the April 24-26 Anzac Day weekend. Dashville is thrilled to announce the addition of The Beautiful Girls to this year’s line-up, complimenting an impressive list which features the likes of The Church, iOTA, Harts Does Hendrix, Dyson Stringer Cloher, Frazey Ford, Cash Savage & The Lost Drinks, Steve Smyth and many more. Other acts announced today for the 2020 festival include Ripple Effect Band an all-female indigenous rock band from Arnham Land, Canberra blues rock duo The Barren Spinsters, Sydney dance floor wardens Majun Bu, local celebrity songwriter Dave Wells, raucous emerging stadium rock band The Stained Daisies, legendary folk storyteller Van Walker, indie rock legend come folk-noire instrumentalist Darren Cross and festival favourites from last year, sunny coast funk rock duo Burger Joint. Also, as a festival first, The Gum Ball will introduce its first live hip hop showcase thanks to RIVAL EMPIRE. Featuring Newcastle’s Talakai, Ty Mikado, Micks King and Sydney’s Bigredcap & Losty. The hugely popular Big Dog’s Comedy Hour is also set to return with comedians Eddie Ray and Aaron Gocs confirmed to be in attendance. The weekend-long program of events for The Gum Ball will be announced in coming weeks. The program will include a diverse range of children’s workshops, entertainment and activities. Food and market listings, playing times and the line-up of acts performing at the popular Sunday Wind Down. The 15th annual Gum Ball runs from 2pm Friday, April 24 to 2pm Sunday April 26, incorporating a special Anzac dawn service on Saturday 25th April.
