With a meteoric rise, Sydney-based artist Don West has swiftly captivated the country putting a modern twist on classic soul and blues, fused with the salt-air ease of coastal life and charming charisma. Riding the wave of his debut record Give Me All Your Love, released last November, he has torn through stages across the globe, racking up sold-out tours across the EU/UK, North America and Australia, plus two back-to-back nights at London’s legendary KOKO. Come summer, there’s no better setting than an open-breeze night under the stars, awash in the euphoric sound of Don West.

Across six albums and over a decade in the game, New Zealand-born, Australian-raised and London-based Jordan Rakei brings an extensive catalogue to the open-air stage – spanning neo-soul warmth, jazz-inflected improvisation, sweeping arrangements and DIY mastercraft. Highly respected, he’s collaborated with the likes of Loyle Carner, Jalen Ngonda, JUNGLE’s Tom McFarland, Ezra Collective’s Femi Koleoso, Nubya Garcia, Tom Misch and more, plus graced the biggest stages in the world – from Glastonbury to two sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The announcement comes ahead of his seventh studio album, Safe Place to Be Wild, out Friday 30 October via Fontana, with FORMA audiences set to be among the first in the world to hear it live.

Dubbed “the most chill band in Arnhem Land,” Drifting Clouds will set the scene with a hypnotic blend of synth pop and ’80s rock fused with ancient Songlines, sung in frontman Terry Guyula’s first language, Liyawulma’mirr-Djambarrpuyngu. Their June 2025 debut, Bawuypawuy, adapts a millennia-old Songline into an infectious, dreamy groove that sparked an instant viral response, earning them a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist selection, support slots alongside King Stingray and Cut Copy, a set at Meredith, and a Best New Talent nod at this year’s NIMAs. Also on supporting duties will be Father’s Favourite, the Sydney folk rock band fronted by duo Mia and Chèrise. The seamless blend of vintage allure and contemporary flair coming together to create sultry and spellbinding harmonies, they encapsulate their audience into the world of the free-spirited, bohemian era of the 60s/70s rock ‘n’ roll scene. Drawing on influences from blues, country and classic rock, the music of Father’s Favourite is a celebration of the bohemian lifestyle: a fusion of soulful sincerity and rock ‘n’ roll bravado, which they will bring to Tumbalong Park.
