Novel is happy to welcome the highly anticipated return of Dusky. Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman aka Dusky is the London born duo who have steadily maintained a growing fanbase since their emergence in the early 10’s. Their 2011 breakthrough track ‘Flo Jam’ asserted itself as a club-ready anthem, worthy of it’s Beatport #1 title. This was followed by a string of other club favourites ‘Careless’, ‘Love Taking Over’ and ‘Yoohoo’.
Equally loved for their considered and well-sourced DJ sets, a Dusky set harbours all things hard-hitting, infectious and pristinely arranged. As label owners, they imbue their 17 Steps imprint with forward-thinking house and techno from the likes of Bwana, Perel, Mella Dee, Perc and Ryan Elliott. As the label continues to develop, Dusky remain working across multiple disciplines, firmly rooted in the dance music culture that has inspired them ever since their formative days raving as teenagers at venues across London.
After hosting Dusky at Let Them Eat Cake, smalltown and Pitch Music & Arts, Novel is eager to welcome their return as they kick off the Easter long weekend.
