Capleton, Beenie Man, Shenseea, Busy Signal, Anthony B, Black Sherif, Ding Dong, Libianca, Lojay, Queen Omega, WSTRN and more announced to perform at the biggest celebration of Black Culture.

City Splash Festival, the most essential and authentic celebration of Caribbean and African culture in Europe, is back across seven stages at London’s Brockwell Park on May 27 2024. The festival is set to make history with the return of legendary Grammy nominated Jamaican reggae and dancehall musician Capleton. Also joining the lineup is consistent hit maker and magician of stage presence Beenie Man, dancehall sensation Shenseea and fellow Jamaican star Busy Signal, known for hits like ‘Stay So’. As well as this they have confirmed Billboard Award nominee and Cameroonian-American singer Libianca, pioneering dub sound system crew Channel One, dancehall dons Iration Steppas, and renowned UK sound systems Rampage Sound and Saxon Sound.

City Splash is back, bigger and better than ever this year with the jungle legend Shy FX who’s collaborated with some of the best in the game from Chronixx to Ms Dynamite, carnival inspired vibe curators Shabba Party, former Chase & Status frontman turned vital solo talent Rage MC, Afrobeats and Amapiano selector DJ Neptizzle, pioneering Jamaican sound and party hosts (backed by Protoje) Dubwise Jamaica who are back for their 4th year at City Splash, plus many more tastemakers who are integral to the scene. – Such as Bossy LDN, Heartless Crew, Seani B, Robbo Ranx and Shayna Marie.

They’ve locked in the finest specialist DJ’s from around the globe including presenter Becca D who’s known for championing reggae and dancehall, king of Caribbean sounds DJ Nate, dancehall connoisseur g33zy. ‘Girls Can’t DJ’ founder Jordss, also graces the bill, who has supplied sounds for some of the world’s most well-known brands including Vogue, Louis Vuitton and Daily Paper. Brooklyn-born rising star Talia Goddess, vintage dancehall specialist Ayanna Heaven, Pink Pantheress’ official DJ JJess and female-led movement bringing the power & positivity of dub music & sound system culture to the people – Sisters in Dub also made the drop.

The festival pays homage to its reggae and dub roots, with the likes of Sound System, Jahrevelationmuzik featuring Horseman & Ricky Rankin, Bigga U Collective featuring A STARR, Tall Rich & Darnel Keize, Brother Culture, Jus Blaze, Iqulah Rastafari Band and more. More key acts from the scene include Rebel Clash, General Levy, Ding Dong, WSTRN, Sir DJ Corey, DJ Larni, IQ, Rachael Anson, DJ Pioneer, Coldsteps & Supa D, D’Yani and more.

City Splash is a vital cultural melting point that celebrates, magnifies and uplifts a curated mix of Black music, food, dance and styles on one very huge day. Previous editions have seen the event earn a reputation for its authenticity and for offering a space for communities to unite, connect and create history at the UK’s most essential festival experience.
It all takes place in the beautiful Brockwell Park, located in the heart of Brixton, the home of UK reggae and Caribbean culture in the UK. The area, known for its rich history and cultural significance, is transformed with state of the art light and sound across seven stages that all have their own look, sound and vibe.

Next to non stop music from around the world, you can expect to tuck into an array of delicious food and drink offerings from 45+ Black-owned food traders delivered in partnership with Black Eats LDN, plenty of authentic rum, and a creative market as well as engaging panel talks.

City Splash Festival offers something truly unique and is an unmissable early summer getaway that brings together the best of Black culture and beyond.
