Black Bats ‘Seven Day Blues’ – Single release + new album news

by the partae
‘Seven Day Blues’ is the first track taken from forthcoming album, Psychic Retreat, the follow up to the debut self titled album released just over a year ago. The track starts off with a sparse western psych intro and builds up to an ominous blues number, with a chorus that quickly ramps the track up to a garage punk energy, and then winds its way back down out again. It is a slower track than we would usually have as the first single, but the track covers the sensation of isolation and cabin fever. Even though the track was written well over a year ago, it seems like a fitting song to release in the current climate.  We’re disappointed that we can’t be playing any live shows to support the single launch, but we thought it would be better to share a few singles in the meantime, and hopefully we will be able to launch the album in a proper fashion later in the year!  https://soundcloud.com/blackbatsband/black-bats-seven-day-blues-1/s-d5S0dda9IKu Facebook  /  Instagram  /  Bandcamp  /  Spotify  /  Apple Music
