Bam Margera will bring An Evening With Bam Margera to Australia this November for three dates in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The event will begin at Powerhouse in Brisbane on Tuesday 3 November, followed by Factory Theatre in Sydney on Wednesday 4 November and Thornbury Theatre in Melbourne on Thursday 5 November.
Margera will be joined by longtime friend and collaborator Joe Frantz, a filmmaker and producer associated with Viva La Bam, CKY, Jackass and other skate and punk projects. The evening will cover Margera’s early CKY days and the skate scene, followed by Jackass, Viva La Bam and his move into the mainstream.
Frantz will bring footage from his personal archives, including material described in the announcement as never before seen. The event will also feature stories about the friends and characters around Margera, bands he admired and played with, life on the road, the skate and punk scene, and experiences behind the cameras of shows and films from that period.
Margera is also set to speak about drugs, addiction, the consequences of that lifestyle and coming through the other side.
In the announcement, Margera said he would be telling stories from that period of his life, while Frantz would bring footage including skate demos, Viva La Bam stunts, touring with bands and material that did not make it onto television.
An Evening With Bam Margera is an 18+ event featuring adult themes, strong language and discussion of drug use and addiction.
