Pushing a certified trance classic into the modern melodic house realm, US DJ/producer Enamour reworks ARTY, Nadia Ali and BT’s ‘Must Be The Love’ into a club-tailored melodic banger, out now on Armada Music.
Nadia Ali’s strong, warm vocal is let loose with a cleaner sound, easily holding her own beside the new foreground plucked, melodic bass progression. Enamour inserts a dramatic, melodic section for emotional heft, into his dance-orientated ‘super clubby, dark departure’ from the original, a journey within the track, while the track itself ‘combines the hypnotic style I love with the more driving, euphoric style of some of my older work so it’s great for transitioning between those two styles in a set’ Enamour says.
The Washington DC based producer (previous releases on Last Night On Earth, Anjunadeep, Armada and Get Physical) taste-tested his remix on his North American headline tour, which included Sound (LA), Spy Bar (Chicago), It’ll Do (Dallas), Audio (SF) and Echostage (DC). ‘The reaction has been fantastic in every single city, many people were singing along to the lyrics and freaking out when I played it.’
