Multi-platinum Trio Cheat Codes Teams Up With Multi-GRAMMY-winning Band Train For Their New Dance-Pop Crossover Smash “Bloom”
Title: Bloom
Label: Self-release
LA-based artist trio Cheat Codes is back with a massive new single titled “Bloom,” their collaboration with 3 x GRAMMY-winning band Train. With organic instrumentals, euphonious production and soft basslines, Cheat Codes set a breezy, feel-good tone to the track that is amplified by Train frontman Pat Monahan‘s instantly-recognizable, catchy, soulful topline. “Bloom” is a winning fusion of Cheat Codes‘ diverse sonic style and Train‘s emotive signature sound, making for a born-to-be summertime anthem for sunny days and warm nights spent with the ones you love. This collaboration is the latest in a series of Cheat Codes‘ notable singles this year, which include “Find Love Now” with Punctual and Raphaella, “Morning” with Jason Derulo, De La Ghetto and Galantis, “Head Up” with Birdy, and “Stay Another Night” with Regard, to name a few. For Train, “Bloom” finds the diamond-selling band expanding into new genres, and we can’t wait to see what both artists do next.
“Working with Pat and Train was a full circle moment for us – we’ve been fans of the band ever since we could remember and their music represents a soundtrack that’s already a part of our lives. Getting to meet Pat and work together reminded us why we do this. ‘Bloom‘ is our summer anthem and daily reminder to surround yourself with people you love who you know will always have your back.” – Cheat Codes
“I’m a big fan of Cheat Codes. I love their songs, energy and the whole vibe they put out to the world. When I heard ‘Bloom‘ I thought, ‘This song is huge! They definitely do not need me.’ I was so excited that they disagreed and wanted me on the track. This is an incredible song and I am so proud to be on it with these guys. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.” – Pat Monahan of Train

Train
Train is a multi-GRAMMY Award-winning, diamond-selling band from San Francisco that has had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and 13 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. Train‘s climb to the top began in 1994, as the original 5-member band tenaciously built a loyal hometown following, leading up to their debut self-titled album released by Columbia in 1998. The tumbling wordplay of “Meet Virginia” gave them their first unlikely radio hit, and 2001’s “Drops of Jupiter” broke them to multi-platinum status thanks to the double-GRAMMY-winning title song that spent 10 months in the Top 40, has been certified RIAA 7 x platinum, and earned the 2001 GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Song. The group won another GRAMMY in 2011 for their global hit “Hey, Soul Sister” from their multi-platinum album “Save Me, San Francisco” (2009), which was the no. 1 best-selling smash and most downloaded single of 2010, achieved RIAA diamond status in 2021 and now 11 x platinum, and in 2022 surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. Train has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide, with multiple platinum/gold citations, including 3 GRAMMY Awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards, and dozens of other honors. They’ve had 24 Top 10 songs across the Billboard charts and 6 Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, including “Drops of Jupiter” (2001), “My Private Nation” (2003), “California 37” (2012), “Bulletproof Picasso” (2014), “For Me, It’s You” (2016), and “a girl a bottle a boat” (2017). This summer, Train is taking over amphitheaters across the country on a co-headline tour with REO Speedwagon, and most recently, released a new album, Live at Royal Albert Hall, recorded live from their sold-out, debut performance at the iconic and historic Royal Albert Hall in London. Train frontman, Pat Monahan, partakes in other ventures outside of music, including his award-winning wine portfolio, Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co, which was created in 2011 and has sold over 10 million bottles and won over 100 medals. Proceeds from his wine business support Family House, a San Francisco charity that supports families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Monahan has appeared on television and in film with credits that include the 2021 Hallmark Channel original movie, “Christmas in Tahoe,” inspired by Train‘s album of the same name, which he executive produced and starred, “Dr. Ken,” “90210,” CBS‘s “Hawaii Five-0” and “Magnum P.I.,” “The Voice,” “American Idol,” and “The Bachelor.”

Melbourne-based indie-rock outfit, Left At The Avenue, have today released a gritty new single, ‘Wailing’. Recorded at JMC Recording Studios, the track features a raw blend of indie rock with grungy undertones, expertly mixed by Dan Molad and mastered by Joe Carra. This powerful new release captures intense emotion through lyricism and dynamic instrumentation, offering a reflection of the band’s personal and artistic struggles.
‘Wailing’ is a testament to the group’s ability to channel their experiences into their music. The song delves into themes of frustration, perseverance, and the cathartic release found through songwriting. With its raw energy and heartfelt lyrics, ‘Wailing’ stands out as a deeply personal and impactful track.
“We were suffering from some pretty bad writer’s block just before we wrote this one, so to be able to finally get out the pent-up anger from struggling through 2023 and finally release it into ‘Wailing,’ I feel like you can hear that…at least we do.”
NICO DAWE, BASS GUITAR
Left At The Avenue have been no strangers to the live music scene in Victoria over the past few years, gaining a loyal fan base along the way. The band, comprised of lifelong friends Henry Parks, Connor Pawsey, and Nico Dawe, have seen recent success in singles, ‘Minibar’ and ‘Cinnamon’, which have gone onto amass tens of thousands in streams across all DSPs. With ‘Wailing’, Left At The Avenue look to further the connection with their audience, by giving them unfiltered, untamed honesty.
“This song’s a reflection of many things in our lives, it’s deeply personal, performing it, even rehearsing it…taps into something within me that no other track has done before.”
HENRY PARKS, SINGER
Of the songs accompanying visualiser, animator Jade Gallogly has said:
“I felt so connected to the song’s feelings of anxiety, desperation and anger – I tried to channel that into how I drew the scratchy and unkept animations, letting my instinctual reaction to the song take the wheel. I hope others can find pieces of themselves in this song as I have, and I hope the visuals I’ve created help aid in that endeavour”
JADE GALLOGLY, ANIMATOR
PRAISE
“This feels really really special! I adore the passion, emotion and vulnerability that shines through in this delivery! Feels like every band member is in a world of their own and I’m so entranced!”
Anika Luna, Triple J Unearthed
“Though intentionally pulling from those they adore, LATA are able to stand out amongst a sea of sound-alikes. Melodically and lyrically relatable despite remaining specific, LATA seem to have stumbled upon the perfect indie-rock songwriting formula.”

R3HAB and Deorro Collaborate for the First Time in 10 Years On Latin-Dance 180 BPM Heater – “Gózalo.” Out on Sony Music
Title: Gózalo
Label: Sony Music
Multi-platinum Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB joins forces with Mexican-American producer Deorro for the first time in ten years on their new release – “Gózalo.” The two artists combine their unique and dynamic sounds by fusing traditional Latin rhythms, courtesy of Deorro‘s side, with R3HAB‘s signature driving, high-energy bassline almost reminiscent of hardstyle, making for a dancefloor heater that seamlessly bridges the gap between the two genres. “Gózalo” evokes midsummer parties with high vibes and grooving long into the night, making it the perfect crowd pleaser. R3HAB and Deorro‘s last collaboration was “Flashlight,” released on Spinnin’ Records a decade ago. It made a mark as one of the most known tracks from big-room EDM‘s golden era, and still remains a fan favorite with over 130M streams and regular appearances in sets to this day.
“It’s been a decade since Deorro and I dropped “Flashlight” – a track which has had a global impact on the EDM scene and still features in all my sets. Ten years later, we’re joining forces for “Gózalo,” a record that combines Deorro‘s Latin roots with my high-energy sound. Ever since I started working on it, the hook has been stuck in my head, and now that it’s out, it can be stuck in yours too. Vamos!” – R3HAB
“Excited to be working with my brother R3HAB again on something with a little Latin flavor this time.” – Deorro

His work has collected over 11 billion streams to date, including more than 1.2B in 2023 alone. R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK in 2016, which has passed 4B streams across platforms since its inception. R3HAB continues to evolve and diversify his sound by working with artists around the globe, pushing the boundaries of dance music as he collaborates across genres and languages. Among his highlights were “Dechorro” (2013), “Freak” (2014), and “Five Hours” (2014), the last of which reached the Top 10 in France and Belgium. Additionally, he remixed tracks by the likes of Laidback Luke (“Pogo“), Steve Aoki (“Ooh“), and Gareth Emery (“Lights & Thunder“). Deorro‘s momentum continued with “Five More Hours” (featuring Chris Brown, 2015) and “Bailar” (featuring Elvis Crespo, 2016), both of which went Top Ten in multiple territories. A slew of additional singles followed into 2017 when he issued his debut collection, “Good Evening.” He continued his prolific run in 2018 with nearly a dozen single releases, including “Shakalaka” with Steve Aoki, “Dracarys” with Dirty Audio, and “Bring It Back” (feat. Max Styler) with MAKJ.
