Rising Australian singer-songwriter Jack Botts returns with his latest single release, ‘18th Floor (Acoustic)‘. It comes after the whirlwind response to the original ’18th Floor’ in November 2020, which spawned tirple j play and Unearthed rotation and a whopping 38-date Australian headline tour with limited tickets remaining.
Where the original ’18th Floor’ is packed with movement and flow, ’18th Floor (Acoustic)’ offers a stunning pared back take. Thematically, the track finds Botts digesting the highs and hurdles of his long distance relationship and the pressure it endured with COVID restrictions.
He shares: “What you are hearing in the acoustic version is ’18th Floor’ in its original form. How it was written, stripped back, key change, and mellow. In a way, this is the original version.”
Jack Botts continues his 18th Floor Australian Headline Tour across the country throughout February and March, after a stack of sold out shows in Canberra, TAS and a stint down the coast last month as well as a sold out night at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club.
