Martin Garrix’s ‘Drown’ gets first remix from one of the hardest-hitting upward forces in bass house: Matroda

One month ago Martin Garrix released his latest single ‘Drown’ in collaboration with Clinton Kane, and the official remixes are now kicking off with Matroda. The Croatian applied his signature house sound to the uplifting and powerful original, turning it into a version that’s bursting with energy and grit.

Taking early influences from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles, while introducing classical training with the violin, drums and keyboard, Matroda’s sound is well rounded and multifaceted, which is exactly what he showcases on this remix.

With more ‘Drown’ remixes on the way, it’s sure there will be a broad array of sounds to please everyone.
