Hilary Duff brought the nostalgia, good vibes and of course the rain to her first night back in Australia in 18 years kicking off The Lucky Me Tour in Brisbane.
It’s no surprise Hilary’s long awaited return to the land down under was met with a sold out Brisbane entertainment centre. Super fans even arriving to the arena as early as 6am, 15 hours before she graced the stage with her brilliant band. The rain outside stopped no one & even became a bonding moment between strangers, reinforcing the beautiful community Duff has cultivated through her long career.
You couldn’t ask for anymore fun and excitement from the 22 song set spanning 2 hours of continuous hits and new tunes alike. From multiple dazzling outfit changes, fireballs, a Tim-Tam slam & of course confetti galore. A true testament to Hilary’s connection with her audience also bringing up a group of fans to dance with her onstage. Creating a moment that each fan would truely cherish for years to come.
What dreams are made of isn’t just a song to many of Hilary’s fans, but an anthem to do what you love with the short time we have. Duff and her team now head to Melbourne, Sydney & capping it off in Perth – we can’t wait to see her again.
