n a breakout ’25 landing in triple j‘s Hottest 200, a slew of sold out shows across the nation, West Coast favs Fool Nelson have powered through the year with a sold out London debut headline, notched tastemaker festivals The Great Escape, London Calling, Dot To Dot, Liverpool Sound City and performed live on Dutch powerhouse radio station 3FM.
Today the trio announce a special run of intimate Australian dates, tied around their performance at the iconic Yours & Owls Festival this October. Coinciding with the drop of shows, they share a nostalgic clip for their latest BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music supported single, ‘Keepsake’. With the band noting:
“This song is for our loved ones, but the clip is for every single person that’s come to a show, said g’day, shed a tear in the mosh, or crowdsurfed and lost their shoes. The vid was shot by our mate Andrew Briggs on our last run of shows across the country. It’s pretty special to have something to look back on, something that captures that tour and almost feels like a nostalgic recap of a family holiday. We’re so grateful to be able to play shows all around the place and can’t wait to get back on the road and do what we love.”
The past 12 months has seen the band crack triple j’s Hottest 200 at #154, supported luminaries Spacey Jane, Skegss, Old Mervs, and ticked-off Rolling Sets Festival, The Great Escape, Wave Rock Weekender and Rum Jungle‘s festival ‘New For Now’. The trio were noted as ‘Ones To Watch’ and selected as the Unearthed Competition Winner for triple j’s One Night Stand in their hometown of Busselton (the only ever act to win an Unearthed Competition, twice).

Show-stopping and chart-topping, ‘Bad Dreams’ hit #1 Most Played on triple j for multiple weeks, with previous singles all in the Top 10 at the station. Releases have climbed National Shazam Charts, and locally in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, and have been widely embraced by Australian radio. The WA group were cover stars of ‘Rock Out.‘ on Spotify and have had continued support, added to countless Apple Music and Spotify playlists across the globe.
