MELBOURNE, VIC – Freestyle Kings Capture The Crown Live World Tour returns to Melbourne on Saturday, 8 August, bringing the world’s biggest names in freestyle motocross, BMX and snowmobile freestyle to Rod Laver Arena for a jam-packed afternoon of jaw-dropping tricks, high-octane production and unforgettable entertainment.
Melbourne’s own Rob Adelberg returns home as Australia’s most decorated X Games Moto X rider after recently claiming another gold medal in China, extending his record as the most successful Moto X athlete in X Games history.
“It’s always special riding in Melbourne,” says Adelberg. “To be coming home after another X Games gold and performing in front of family, friends and a home crowd is something I never take for granted. Headlined by international action sports icon Robbie Maddison, Freestyle Kings features one of its strongest line-ups yet, with multiple World Champions Pat Bowden and Clinton Moore, five-time X Games Gold Medallist and snowmobile superstar Daniel Bodin, along with Robbie’s sons, 15-year-old Kruz Maddison and 13-year-old Jagger Maddison, who continue to impress as two of the sport’s most exciting young talents.
Also joining the line-up is 21-year-old Central Coast rider Tarj Daly, who continues his rise as one of freestyle motocross’s brightest young stars.
