Good Things Festival 2025 Unveils Jaw-Dropping Lineup Featuring Tool, Weezer & More

by the partae

Good Things Festival has gone and done it again, dropping a 2025 lineup that’s bound to wreck calendars and bank accounts across the country. Rolling into Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane this December, the travelling alt-rock circus is stacking some serious firepower at the top, with Tool returning to Australian stages to twist minds and melt faces, and Weezer ready to hand out a decade-spanning setlist of singalongs.

Garbage are along for the ride, still as cool as they were in the ‘90s, and Machine Head will be there to make sure the pit is working overtime. Pop-punk fans get their fix with All Time Low and The All-American Rejects, while the heavier brigade can warm up their neck muscles for Knocked Loose, Lorna Shore, and Kublai Khan TX. There’s even a bit of history on the bill, with Refused tipped to be making their last Australian appearances.

The rest of the lineup jumps genres without apology: New Found Glory, Make Them Suffer, Dayseeker, James Reyne, Cobra Starship, Goldfinger, Tonight Alive… and that’s before you even touch the undercard, which runs from Bad Nerves and Civic through to the chaos of Stage 666, with Gwar, Scene Queen, Wargasm, Palaye Royale, Yours Truly and plenty more in between.

It all kicks off Friday 5 December in Melbourne at Flemington Racecourse, hits Sydney Showground the next day, and wraps up at Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday 7 December. If you’ve been before, you already know the deal: it’s loud, it’s sweaty, it’s a whole lot of fun, and it’s probably going to ruin your Monday in the best possible way.
