From unknown artist to international star: multi-talented drummer, singer, songwriter and producer G FLIP is one of a kind. Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce G Flip will return home for the DRUMMER Australian Tour this August/September – performing eight huge shows in Brisbane, Cairns, Adelaide, Perth, Torquay, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle.

Transcending boundaries and expectations, G Flip (born Georgia Flipo) is becoming the role model they never had growing up. A near-lifelong musician who took up drumming at just nine-years-old, the rising superstar makes the kind of high-powered rock/pop that could only come from the heart and mind of a drummer. First heard on triple j, last month saw the release of new single ‘Be Your Man’ (out now via Future Classic), a track showcasing G’s insightful and reflective songwriting talent and building upon the vulnerability they have become revered for with their music.

Today’s long-awaited tour news is a homecoming celebration for the singer, marking their first headline dates on Aussie soil since 2019. G Flip recently announced their debut US headline shows, which kick off in September in Santa Cruz, California. The 25-date run includes New York, Boston, Chicago and more, before wrapping in San Francisco in late October. G also just-wrapped a string of stellar Pride Month performances across North America.

Having delivered 2018 debut smash single ‘About You’ – named Best New Track by Pitchfork, with Rolling Stone hailing G Flip as an ‘Artist You Need To Know’ – G Flip matches their potent musicianship with equal parts sonic originality and fantastically outspoken point-of-view (an element informed by their experience as a queer, non-binary artist). They sealed their status as a major festival drawcard with their early, debut performance at Byron’s Splendour In The Grass back in 2018, while last year’s massive return – which saw the drummer performing one-handed! – immediately became the stuff of legend. For the past few years G has dominated triple j’s Hottest 100, the biggest listener voted music poll in the world. 2019 debut About Us has amassed more than 180 million streams to date and debuted on #1 on the ARIA vinyl charts and #6 on Album charts.

Joining the tour as special guests: with singles ‘Hard For Me’, ‘Arizona’ and ‘I Suck At Being Lonely’ accumulating six million combined streams and a Top 4 position at Eurovision Australia Decides in 2022, Sydney-based pop chanteuse Charley (Sydney & Newcastle shows) is on a roll, the energetic singer due to release debut EP TIMEBOMBS in late June. Brisbane artist Hope D (Brisbane, Cairns, Perth shows) made her debut trek to Austin’s SXSW in 2023, following the delivery of debut album Clash of The Substance in Feb 2023. Having performed festival sets at Groovin The Moo, BIGSOUND, Falls and more, fans were won over by tracks like ‘Doormat’ and instant earworm ‘Emerald’. Inspired by artists as diverse as Toots and the Maytals, Gorillaz, Adele, and Amy Winehouse, commanding Melbourne singer Jacoténe (Adelaide, Torquay, Melbourne shows) was crowned triple j’s Unearthed High Winner of 2022, thanks to top 5 most-played track, ‘I Need Therapy (demo)’.

Sydney indie-pop soloist Heterochromia shares dancey new single, Plastic, before heading on the Cracked Porcelain Tour, visiting towns across the nation.

Exploring the throes of self-worth, Plastic boasts a mellow balance of energetic rock and bubblegum pop genres, engaging listeners with sing-along melodies, bouncing riffs and an upbeat rhythm section that delivers an important message packaged in candied sarcasm.

“Plastic laments a time in my life where I was feeling very ornamental and used by various characters in my life, which served as a catalyst for the toy motif we’ve been playing with so far,” says vocalist Bree Vane. “Plastic has a very cathartic ‘f*ck you I’m a whole person’ chorus that makes it a lot more positive, and it’s definitely the most upbeat song we’ve written. I’m really excited for people to dance to this one”

Produced by Joshua Gonzalez, and mixed and mastered by Christopher Vernon (Belle Haven, Future Static, Better Half), Plastic builds with each passage to create a lush sonic tapestry teeming with Vane’s signature sugar-coated pop energy.

The track forefronts Vane’s exemplary songwriting and commanding yet vulnerable vocals in a high-end production package that makes for a truly evocative performance.

Heterochromia will be taking their live performances across the East Coast on the Cracked Porcelain Tour visiting Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle, Brisbane and Sydney. Heterochromia will headline Hamilton Hotel in Newcastle on August 6 and Oxford Art Gallery in Sydney on September 9. No stranger to the music industry, Vane is renowned for her contribution to the Australian music community as a photographer and graphic designer. Most notably, Vane spearheaded Wall Of Sound’s evolution into digi-mag territory, where she has successfully curated both the Good Things Festival Special and the soon to be released Knotfest Special digi-mags. A woman of many creative endeavours, Vane is also the brains behind the machine that is Heterochromia.

Heterochromia’s debut 2022 single Baby Doll, a tale of forbidden love, put the name on the map and saw Vane debut her live show with a band at Sydney’s packed out Burdekin Hotel last November. Earlier this year Vane collaborated with alt rock favourite David De La Hoz of Belle Haven on sophomore single Kicking, demonstrating a great emotional range and commendable musicianship.

Plastic is the third single by Heterochromia before a larger release will make its way into the world later in the year. Plastic is available now, streaming on all platforms.

40,000 tickets sold already – Northern Germany’s biggest electronic festival celebrates 20th anniversary and presents the complete Line Up

From the 12th to the 16th of July 2023 one of the biggest electronic music festivals in Europe has a very special birthday. AIRBEAT ONE celebrates its 20th anniversary. What started in 2001 as a small party for 1,000 guests at the Neustadt-Glewe airfield has now become one of the big mega festivals with up to 65,000 visitors per day. Anyone who wants to be there in 2023 should hurry, because two months before the start, over 40,000 tickets have already been sold.

This year’s edition is themed “Edition Home – Germany”, because milestone birthdays are best celebrated at home with family and all friends. It should be a gigantic birthday party with guests from over 50 countries. Also a lot of the best DJs and acts will fly in from all over the world to the tranquil town of Neustadt-Glewe in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to congratulate AIRBEAT ONE. Who will be at this year’s edition is confirmed now with the announcement of the Full Line Up.

Only the biggest DJs and acts on the planet will perform on the epochal showpiece of the AIRBEAT ONE festival, the “Mainstage” with its monstrous dimensions of up to 180 meters wide and 50 meters high. Here alone, 16 artists from DJ Mag UK’s prestigious Top 100 ranking will perform: ALOK, Boris Brejcha, Charlotte de Witte, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fisher, Hardwell, KSHMR, Morten, Oliver Heldens, Paul van Dyk, Steve Aoki, Sunnary James & Ryan Marciano, Timmy Trumpet, Vini Vici, W&W and Will Sparks. True to the motto “Edition Home – Germany”, the blockbusters from Germany will also be on the main stage: Fritz Kalkbrenner, Marten Horger, Neelix, Paul Kalkbrenner and Scooter. And with Öwnboss, the absolute top of the line from Brazil will be flying in.

Techno is the defining sound on the Arena Stage, which was added to the stage program just a few years ago. Prominent names from the important DJ Mag Top 100 ranking are also represented here: Claptone, Danny Avila, Deborah de Luca, Nora En Pure, Reinier Zonneveld and Vintage Culture. In line with the theme, high-ranking German techno artists will also come to the Arena, such as Adana Twins, Anne Clue, Moritz Hofbauer and SKIY. But that’s not all. Other international big names and upcoming artists of the techno scene like Camelphat, Enrico Sangiuliano, i hate models, Indira Paganotto, Kölsch, LEVT, Lilly Palmer, Prophecy and Tinlicker will be performing. HI-LO, Oliver Helden’s minimalist side-project and Meduza as the biggest Italian streaming artist in Italy’s music history close the Arena Stage Line Up.

The Hardstyle stage of the AIRBEAT ONE Festival will show up as Eagle Stage for the “Edition Home – Germany”. The acts on this stage resemble the Line Up of a dedicated Hardstyle Festival. With Angerfist, Brennan Heart and Miss K8 (b2b Deadly Guns) three Top 100 members are represented. But the list of stars of harder sounds for this year’s edition is almost endless: Act of Rage, Atmozfears, Audiotricz, Bass Modulators b2b Adrenalize, Coone, Creek, D-Block & S-te-Fan, D-Sturb, Da Tweekaz, Demi Kanon, Dr. Peacock, Frequencerz b2b B-Front, Frontliner, Gunz For Hire, Headhunterz, Jebroer, Mandy, Noisecontrollers, Partyraiser b2b Bulletproof, Paul Elstak ft. What a lineup of headliners and all of it hosted by Villain!

The legendary Terminal stands for the styles Electro, Tech House and Tropical. With Bassjackers, Kaaze, Lucas & Steve, Quintino and Topic, five acts from the current DJ Mag Top 100 will be behind the turntables in 2023. For the anniversary, this stage will deliver the largest amount of German artists with illustrious names like Anstandslos & Durchgeknallt, Die Gebrüder Brett, Gestört aber GeiL, HBz, Housekasper, Le Shuuk, Lexy & K-Paul, Mausio, Moguai, Ostblockschlampen, Thomas Lizzara, VIZE and YouNotUs. Three of the best known acts from Austria come with Harris & Ford, Klangkarussell and Toby Romeo. But also international top-class acts like Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, EDX, Klingande, Mike Perry and Regard are going to fill the tent with excitement.

After this phenomenal line-up of stars on the other stages, the Second Stage won’t be left out and presents a total of 33 top names of the Goa and Psytrance scene. Ace Ventura, Astrix, Blastoyz, Bliss, Captain, Hook, Cloud 7, Fabio Fusco, Hatikwa, Laughing Buddha, Liquid Soul, Morten Granau, Phaxe, Pribe, Ranji, Schrittmacher, Skazi, Tristan and Vegas are just a few of the most famous names.

On Wednesday, July 12th, camping visitors can already “warm up” for the AIRBEAT ONE Festival. At the free pre-opening party presented by NJOY, there will be beats from Anton Jonathan, Finn Sitzenstock, Christian Lidsba, Restricted, Jerome, Mark Bale, Axmo, Aftershock and Thyron in the Main Camping.

There is another floor in the VIP Camping Village. Up to 65,000 visitors from over 50 nations are expected at the anniversary edition of the AIRBEAT ONE festival. On the five stages of the four-day open air event, every electronic fan will find his or her electronic sound, from EDM to trance and progressive – from hardstyle, hardcore and gabber to techno, minimal, house, psytrance and goa.

SYDNEY (May 22, 2023) – FLETCHER will return to Australia and New Zealand later this year in celebration of her critically-acclaimed debut album GIRL OF MY DREAMS.

FLETCHER established herself as a bonafide pop star in 2022.

Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, FLETCHER received industry acclaim early in her career – largely due to her natural and candid storytelling talent, exemplified on her debut EP, you ruined new york city for me, in 2019. The record featured FLETCHER’s breakout hit ‘Undrunk’, which scored the #1 spot on Spotify’s Viral Chart; an early indicator of the musician’s potential. Following this up with 2020’s, THE S(EX) TAPES, FLETCHER returned triumphant, adding to her winning scorecard with songs like ‘Bitter’ fast-climbing to 250 million global streams.

The release of GIRL OF MY DREAMS brought solidified FLETCHER as a U.S. star with staying power. Among her achievements during the album cycle, FLETCHER performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, completed a sold out 25-date tour of North America, and joined Miley Cyrus for a rendition of ‘Midnight Sky’ as part of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party – another viral moment of 2022.

The GIRL OF MY DREAMS TOUR will be an unmissable opportunity for fans to experience the album live, and fall further in love with FLETCHER as she makes her way to both countries at the end of 2023.

The tour will take FLETCHER to New Zealand first, where she will bring her live show to the Auckland Town Hall on November 29. From there, she will tour Australia, starting in Sydney on December 2 at the Hordern Pavilion, and making her way to Melbourne’s Forum and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, before finishing the run in Perth at Metro City.

Fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with FLETCHER, with both an Ultimate Meet & Greet Experience and Soundcheck Experience packages on offer.
