One of New South Wales’ longest-running music and lifestyle festivals is back in 2024. With a seriously loaded lineup of electronic music legends, festival favourites and current dance music darlings, this is one event you will not want to miss!
Gather your crew, mark it in your calendar, as the date is set. Subsonic Music Festival will once again be welcoming everyone during the first weekend of Summer, for their beloved annual celebration in NSW. Join them at the foothills of the Barrington Tops in the heart of Worimi Country from 29th November to 1st December.

Now this is but a taste of what’s to come. The musical lineup is only a small cog in the machine that drives the Subsonic experience. It’s become somewhat of an annual meeting place for Sydney’s creative arts and music underground. New and old friends interweave connections through a broad and unique sense of community. For those who have attended before, you’ll know what we mean, and if you haven’t, then now is the time to get amongst it.
Imagine you and your mates as you drive into the beautiful Monkerai Valley on Worimi Country, then dancing amongst the lush green pastures and rolling hills of the World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops. A refreshing dip in the fresh mountain river that carves its way around the festival site will have you questioning everything you may have experienced or heard of the atypical Australian camping festival. Add glamping and accommodation options to boot, as well as your traditional camping festival experience. This locale & event is really something else and is a very special annual lifestyle and music gathering.
Subsonic Music invites you to discover, dance, express and connect for the festival’s 13th edition in 2024.
Festival Director, Scott Commens had this to say about 2024, “Considering the current event and festival climate, we (more than ever) still emphatically believe in providing a platform that brings together a broad but like-minded community in a way that’s unique, and offers a much-needed space for free expression, discovery and connection in these testing times.”
