Following the release of her latest single ‘Saving Face’, Tokyo via London grunge-pop chanteuse Cream With a K (a.k.a. Lee Tatlock) releases her debut self-titled album TODAY worldwide. Listen HERE

Capturing her 90’s influences perfectly with a heady dose of power pop reminiscent of The Pixies and Beck, Tatlock is in a league of her own on her fantastic debut full-length.

“The writing of this album started at the end of my J-POP career when I was living in LA and then when I moved to London”, says Tatlock. “I basically recorded this record on my laptop over 3 continents so it was kind of like a paper mache until I got in the studio with Alex O’Donovan (OCTAGON) and finalized the mix into something more sophisticated. Sharing this album with everyone, makes me feel a bit shy as if I sharing like a diary of my past self… but at the same time I’m really proud how far I’ve come – with a lot of thanks to all the fans and everyone who’s helped and got involved!”

A musician, visual artist and former model, Cream With a K is most well known for her former involvement as the singer in the Japanese Pop band NEKO PUNCH (Universal Music Japan). Having cut her teeth in the entertainment industry in Tokyo, she decided it was time to reconnect with the West through Cream with a K in early 2016, her first fully English project since her start in music. Pulling her influences from her hometown of London, her adopted hometown of Tokyo and pairing them alongside fuzzy grunge tones and etherial pop vocals makes her first solo effort a surefire head turner.

Working alongside many noteworthy Japanese producers such as Takeshi Kobayashi, Hydain and Shingo Yasumoto and bilingual in Japanese and English, she also turned her hand to song and lyric writing for other Japanese and Korean artists. In Tokyo, seen as a cultural figure who links the UK and Tokyo Music scenes, she was the TV host of the Japanese Rock music TV Show NHK’s “Nippon Rocks” series.

Untitled Group have once again successfully attained the lease for one of Australia’s most unique & exciting event spaces.

Melbourne’s iconic Wool Store Warehouse, which has previously hosted world class talents Solomon, Jamie Jones, John Talabot, Willaris. K, and DMA’s, will host a series of revered events in 2020..

After laying dormant for many decades, Untitled Group will once again bring the monumental building to life fitting the space with a new world-class sound system paired with their signature meticulously curated production & set designs.

Built in the 1940s, the Australian Heritage Commission (AHC) listed ‘Wool Store’ is of regional historical, cultural & architectural significance. It is the largest single wool store building in Victoria, built on a grand scale with considerable architectural refinement. It represents a peak of pastoral development when Australia rode on the sheep’s back with the wool industry playing a significant role in the development of Australia, carrying it’s economy post-World War 2 in what is now known as the ‘post-war wool boom’.

The venue is an addition to Untitled Group’s fast growing portfolio including Beyond the Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Grapevine Gathering, and Ability Fest, as well as the company’s established management, booking & label divisions.

THE VANNS announce ‘RED EYE TOUR’ for March/April and release alternate version

of ‘JULES SAID’ from acclaimed debut album, THROUGH THE WALLS

It has been an absolutely huge 12 months for THE VANNS. With the release of their debut album Through The Walls, the South Coast band firmly cemented their identity as one of Australia’s most formidable names on the indie rock circuit. Now, with a new decade already kicking into gear, The VANNS announce they’re getting back out on the road this Autumn and to boot, they’re releasing a special new version of album track, ‘Jules Said’. The new single, written by Jimmy Vann and Cameron Little expands upon the original album version, with the band hitting the studio with Grammy nominated, ARIA winning producer Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths, Pharrell Williams) to bring this new version of ‘Jules Said’ to life. “Jim and I wrote ‘Jules Said’ in my bedroom in under an hour. It was the first song we finished writing for Through The Walls. We were doing a lot of writing on Logic and trying to come up with ‘cool sounds’ for a while, and then we went out to lunch and were like, ‘When we get back, let’s just try and write something with two guitars and no computer’.” Cameron Little Earning acclaim from fans and throughout the industry, The VANNS embraced powerful melodies, driving guitar and songwriting strength with Through The Walls and as the reaction to the album went on to prove, the four-piece were definitely showing up and demonstrating long-lasting quality on record. Starcrawler burst onto the stage at Thornbury’s the Croxton like a feral cat jumping out of a hat, wild and raw.  Mesmerising limbs, long blonde hair framing the occasional glimpse of an intoxicating face and a tall gaunt body that without notice would explode with brute force, a very rare artistic ability that would entrance the audience with the slightest gesture of pure screeching Banshee darkness.

Starcrawler have the ability to take you to the edge and beyond, leaving you with a feeling of what the fuck just happened?! Starcrawler are a mysterious, alluring, sex scuzz rock fuck machine.

Then rolled in the oh so chill The Growlers to a young and hungry ready to party sold out Croxton crowd.  The vibe was wholesome, upbeat with a lot of singalongs.   The Beach Goth kings were in town and everyone in attendance was high on the scent and ready to party the night away.

The Growlers played a sexy, sweaty mix of tracks that spanned across all albums keeping the eager crowd guessing as to what was coming up next.  Singer Brooks Nielson interacted with the crowd keeping the party vibe high and energy levels soaring.  The set was uplifting and the night felt more like a house party than a club show.  All in all it was great show by both unique acts, thanks for a fucking awesome party to everyone who attended, it was definitely a night to remember!!
