Rising electronic superstar TSHA returns with her seminal blend of melodic house and garage rave sensibilities in support of her new record, Sad Girl. A nostalgic excavation on the bittersweet angst of early adulthood set to reiterate how hotly tipped the self-taught talent remains with co-signs from Zane Lowe, the Gorillaz, Diplo to Billboard, NME and more. Flying the flag for Arabic club music is viral internet sensation and Habibi House founder, DJ Habibeats. Using dance to empower the diaspora, the Palestinian-American DJ’s transformative approach is the perfect storm of culture and unbridled expression that continues dance music’s origins in freedom and protest.
Supported by local stalwarts Jhassic and Rakish, co-founders of South-Asian Australian collective Kerfew, the two make for a heady combo of dancefloor nostalgia with experimental electronica. DJ EZ, a musical force of nature for over two decades, saluted by both the industry and the public for being one of the most creative mixers around with an extraordinary instinct and technical prowess, leads Summer Dance: AFTER DARK. His legendary Boiler Room live stream has been viewed by millions and is widely regarded as one of the greatest UK Garage sets of all time. Supported by Mincy, founder of Extra Spicy, is a sharp, fierce representative of heavy, fast and bass focused underground dance music; plus Garage Pressure, the trailblazing Sydney-based DJ duo comprised of Farj and Paul Fraser, has been at the forefront of the UK underground music scene in Australia for decade. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Zapp is a family band known for their funky, high-energy sound that’s perfect for dancing and good times. A. Swayze & The Ghosts announce album tour dates; Let’s Live a Life Better Than This out Oct 25
ARIA-nominated and internationally acclaimed nipaluna/Hobart band A. Swayze & The Ghosts have announced their Let’s Live a Life Better Than This album tour for November and December, with shows across VIC, TAS, NSW, and QLD, plus appearances at SXSW Sydney and Chopped Festival. The album, dropping October 25, captures the band’s transition from self-destruction to love over four years, blending alternative rock, post-punk, and 70s dance-punk. The record includes singles “Tell You All The Time,” “He Is Dead,” and “Cool Cucumber,” and is available to pre-save and pre-order digitally and on vinyl.
Now a five-piece, the band’s live performances are a fusion of raw energy, live synthesisers, and precise musicianship, described as a mix of LCD Soundsystem’s guitar-driven mayhem and DEVO’s punk-infused madness. Lead singer Andrew Swayze reflects on the album: “The making of Let’s Live a Life Better Than This was a transformative journey for us. Written over four years between Naarm/Melbourne and remote locations across lutruwita/Tasmania, A. Swayze & The Ghosts’ upcoming album Let’s Live a Life Better Than This marks a new chapter for the band. Recorded at Sunset Pig Studios, with frontman Andrew Swayze capturing his vocals in a DIY sound booth at home, the album is self-produced for the first time and mixed by Andy Savours (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys). The record is packed with tight percussion, synths, and even saxophone, showcasing a bold shift in the band’s sound with a focus on dance-driven, guitar-led tracks. This energetic and intense new direction reflects their transition from a “band-in-a-room” writing process to creating within the production stage, inspired in part by losing their rehearsal space.
Embracing a more experimental approach, the band incorporated a wide range of influences, from techno to black metal, adopting a philosophy of following what sounds good without question. The singles “Cool Cucumber,” “He Is Dead,” and “Tell You All The Time” have already garnered widespread media support from outlets like Rolling Stone, triple j, and Spotify’s New Music Friday AUNZ, signaling excitement for the full release.
After a touring break, the band returned with sold-out shows in support of Cool Cucumber and took time to reflect on their artistic evolution. The ten tracks on Let’s Live a Life Better Than This explore deeply personal themes like fear, mental health, trauma, addiction, love, and loss, all wrapped in a quest for personal liberation. Andrew Swayze explains that this introspective process was key to their transformation: “We began as a self-destructive garage-punk band and have grown into a thoughtful, artistically liberated group, bound by love and respect.”

Can you tell us about the inspiration behind your new single, Can’t Be Washed Away? What themes or experiences does it explore?
Can’t Be Washed Away is being left with the great things. When special people have left our life.
How does Can’t Be Washed Away differ from your previous releases in terms of sound and message?
I think I’m maturing as a musician and songwriter. So the sound,feel,narrative and colour is also maturing like a fine wine.
The title Can’t Be Washed Away evokes strong imagery. What’s the story behind it, and how does it tie into the overall vibe of the track?
Being left with great things & feelings from special people who have left our life.
The colour,feel and viiiibe are all very important in my Purpleslam. And I wanted it to be portrayed in the song.
You’ve been gigging locally and nationally for years—how has your sound evolved over time, leading up to this single?
I’ve grown musically and songwriting wise over the years. So I’m definitely sure it comes across in my performances and music now days.
Purpleslam for the ears and soul is how you describe your music. How would you explain that to someone who’s never heard of Sunset Blush before?
Purpleslam is a feeling that enters our ears into the soul and mind. And hopefully fills your life with the petrol that fuels your heart and soul. Keeps you warm when you’re cold. And holds your hand when you need it. And makes your soul feel full and like a great burger or pizza.
What can fans expect from the New Single Tour, and how does it feel to perform Can’t Be Washed Away live?
Well I’ve had some great and enriching gigs for Tour so far. And I want the rest of the gigs to be fulfilling too. This song feels great to play live. I hope every audience picks up on the message and the viiiibe of it.
What has been your most memorable performance so far, and why?
Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne are always great & memorable. Looking forward to Sydney again soon too.
The music industry is constantly changing—how do you stay true to your sound while adapting to new trends?
It’s about protecting my music so it can grow and do what it’s gotta do. But also up to me to adapt to the changing landscape. But stay true to my music.
What’s next for Sunset Blush after the New Single Tour? Any plans for new music, collaborations, or projects?
I’ll just sit back afterwards. Let the music and viiiiibes happen. Then see what I can come up with at the end of the day. Stay Tuned.

Toronto, ON – Brampton-raised rapper and community leader, Lankesh Patel, known as Spitty, has officially released his highly anticipated new album Motherland, now available on all streaming platforms.
Produced by Nick Ianno and Felix Khan of Star67 Studio, Motherland is a South Asian-inspired hip hop album that blends Spitty’s cultural heritage with personal experiences, featuring a diverse array of artists from Canada, India, and the US. The album highlights the power of diversity through its intricate soundscapes.
The album delves into Spitty’s relationships with key women in his life, with tracks like “Mom,” a heartfelt letter to his mother. The title track, “Motherland,” featuring classical singer PRII, explores the challenges facing a person’s homeland, no matter its identity or location.

Raised in the U.S. from age three after being born in Turkey, Tape B’s sound merges nostalgia and innovation, dubbed “Old School x New School.” His journey began at the University of Central Florida, with early 2000s hip-hop and electronic acts like UKF and The Glitch Mob shaping his style. His career took off after a pivotal experience at Lost Lands Festival in 2019. Tape B gained attention through viral SoundCloud mixes and live performances, with his “Yo, Tape B” tag becoming a staple in club and festival culture. Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce that US pop-rock trio X Ambassadors will perform an exclusive headline show in Melbourne this January.
The band will take the stage for their only Australian headline performance at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Wednesday, 29 January, while also touring with Irish icons The Script across Australia in January and February.

X Ambassadors, comprised of Sam Nelson Harris (vocals, guitar, saxophone, bass), Casey Harris (piano, keys), and Adam Levin (drums), first burst onto the scene with their debut album VHS. They have since achieved multi-platinum success with hits like “Unsteady” and “Renegades,” amassing over 1.3 billion streams combined and embarking on a three-year world tour.
The band has also written songs for major film and television projects, including “Deep End” for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as well as contributions to Transformers, The Call of the Wild, and Suicide Squad.
Outside of X Ambassadors, Sam Nelson Harris has worked as a songwriter and producer for top artists like Rihanna, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and SZA, and has collaborated with Eminem, Jay-Z, Kygo, and Machine Gun Kelly, among others.

Few bands have the ability to cut through the noise and distractions of modern life like Sigur Rós, delivering pure, elemental emotions. Now, the Icelandic group is set to return to Australia, accompanied by a 41-piece orchestra, in support of their most personal and emotionally charged album yet, ÁTTA. Since their formation, Sigur Rós has masterfully combined ambient electronics, orchestral arrangements, and rock elements, all led by Jónsi’s ethereal falsetto. Their journey began with their debut album, Von (1997), but it was their second release, Ágætis byrjun (1999), that earned them international fame. The critically acclaimed album won the Shortlist Music Prize and was hailed as Iceland’s Album of the Century. Their follow-up, ( ) (2002), furthered their innovation with Jónsi’s unique “Hopelandic” language. Over the years, Sigur Rós has delivered several chart-topping albums, including Valtari (2012), which topped charts in Iceland and Ireland, and reached No. 7 in the US. Their 2013 album, Kveikur, took the band’s sound in a darker, more assertive direction, earning Top 20 spots worldwide. That same year, Sigur Rós appeared on Game of Thrones and even made a guest appearance on The Simpsons, providing a unique rendition of the show’s theme. Renowned for their captivating live performances, the band has played at major festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza, as well as selling out venues around the world. Their shows are celebrated for their emotional depth, immersive atmosphere, and breathtaking visuals. After a five-year break from touring, their 2022 world tour marked a triumphant return, delighting audiences with new and classic material. Their latest album, ÁTTA (2023), marks a decade since Kveikur and reunites Jónsi, Georg Holm, and Kjartan Sveinsson. The album, recorded with a stripped-back approach and strings at Abbey Road Studios, blends lush orchestral arrangements with an intimate emotional focus, reflecting on the post-pandemic world. HE.SHE.THEY. Records has revealed a new flagship partnership with music distribution disruptors Too Lost, launching at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024. Celebrating this milestone, HE.SHE.THEY. will host multiple events, including the main stage at Dockyard Warehouse Festival, a stage at Mystic Garden Festival, a mixer, and a boat party. Featured artists include Indira Paganotto, DAX J, SPFDJ, Eats Everything, and Jennifer Cardini, among many others.
