Anas, Mula B and Trobi team up for feisty new track ‘La Mafia’

Get ready for a powerful collaboration from three big talents. ‘La Mafia’ sees acclaimed rappers Anas and Mula B collaborate with young multi-platinum producer Trobi in this international masterpiece.

This refreshing track combines the groove of ‘90s Urban vibes with Dutch Afrobeat and Hip-Hop flavor in powerful form. The infectious vocal hooks alternate with hard-hitting raps and sweet melodies, with a thumping house beat and bass driving the track. Melancholic acoustic guitars and a touch of sweetness to the pumping feel, with the vocals cut, spliced and FXed expertly to provide moments of contrast and tension.

Anas Benturquia or simply known as “Anas” is a French rapper of Algerian descent. He released his debut album, Dans mon monde in September 2019. The album was positively received within the French rap community catapulting the rapper to international stardom. Currently, he is working on his highly anticipated second studio album, this release with Mula B and Trobi is the perfect kick-off for his fans!

Mula B found fame with the release of the legendary compilation album D&G in 2016 with labelmates LouiVos & IliasopdeBeat, the trap rapper then dropped his debut album “Meesterplusser” with all singles receiving platinum or even multi-platinum status within the Netherlands. Signed to the acclaimed Wilde Westen records, the half-Moroccan and half-Congolese artist has well-regarded within large parts of France and had collaborated with rappers  Lacrim, Jul and now adding Anas to the list.

“Through a good French friend I got in touch with Anas for a studio session”, says Trobi. “It was clear from the start Mula B should be part of the collab,  as he’s a legendary rapper and also speaks French very well, making for a perfect combination. The plan was to make a super energetic track that everyone could sing along to, creating a catchy sound and yet also a beat that you can dance to at a festival and that has a lot of energy to it. This was the beginning of ‘La Mafia.”

Trobi became the youngest artist to sign to Spinnin’ Records in the label’s history at just 16 years old and has quickly become a major force in the game. The young producer has collaborated with The Chainsmokers, Diplo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. After making his mark in the Dance/EDM scene, Trobi decided to change his musical direction and started making rap music kicking off with multi-platinum records with dutch superstar Ronnie Flex. This career switch would serve him well providing productions for the very top of the Dutch music industry. Earning him 5 singles that wend Gold and 3 multi-platinum #1 hits. This success did not go unnoticed even outside the borders opening the doors to work with big international artists like Lacrim, Vegedream, Karol G, Yxng Bane, Mr. Eazi, and many more.
