METRONOMY NEW ALBUM ‘SMALL WORLD’ OUT NOW VIA BECAUSE MUSIC / VIRGIN MUSIC AUSTRALIA

by the partae February 19, 2022
written by the partae

“wonderful new album, Small World… captures the strangeness of the past two years: how we learnt to value the simple things — family, friends, nature, leisure — as we grappled with upheaval and fear.” – Sunday Times Culture

“Small World might just have the biggest heart of any Metronomy record yet” – Rolling Stone UK

“The British indie-synth-pop troupe are at their jolliest here, clopping into your happy place on a jaunty Chicago house bassline” – The Guardian

“Metronomy are hitting pause on coy indie electronica and exploring more straightforward, heart-on-sleeve material for their new album ‘Small World’” – NME

“Small World is inhabited by earworms, a sepia-tinged record that recalls loves and summers past… Fittingly, the most joy on Small World is found in its microscopic details, the moments with a precise curatorial touch leaving the best taste in the mouth” – Loud and Quiet

Metronomy today release their seventh studio album Small World via Because Music / Virgin Music Australia. The nine-track project includes the previously released singles ‘It’s good to be back’, which confronts the common platitude coming out of the pandemic, and ‘Things will be fine’, that grapples with harnessing hopeful, sunny optimism in the face of difficult situations. The project also follows their previous EP Posse EP Volume 1 released last year.

Small World is an album that sees Metronomy return to simple pleasures, nature, and an embracing in part of more pared down, songwriterly sonics, all while asking broader existential questions: which feels at least somewhat rooted in the period of time during which it was made – 2021. Finding appreciation in nature and our roots, while reappraising the things we value as we get older are all things that are part and parcel of the human experience: though it has all felt accelerated and emphasized in this past year or so. Through the tumultuous ebb and flow of the years, Metronomy continues to endure, and Joe Mount’s ability as a songwriter, arranger and producer shines through on Small World, evergreen.

Listen to Small World

Metronomy – Small World
Life and Death
Things will be fine
It’s good to be back
Loneliness on the run
Love Factory
I lost my mind
Right on time
Hold me tonight
I have seen enough

‘SMALL WORLD’ is out now.

FORMAT FESTIVAL TAKES OVER THE GOLD COAST THIS APRIL

by the partae February 19, 2022
written by the partae
Saturday April 2 | Doug Jennings Park Main Beach, Gold Coast
TICKETS |

Well Spent & The Yot Club are proud to present Format Festival, a new cutting edge boutique music and arts festival, taking place at an idyllic greenfield site, located next to the Gold Coast Broadwater.

The festival program is a diverse line-up representing a new era in Australian music spread across two epic, undercover stages.

Featuring Confidence Man, Crush3d, Dameeeela, Hermitude, Human Movement, Made In Paris, Motez, Latour, The Jungle Giants, Total Giovanni, Willaris K plus more to be announced.

After a three-year pandemic hiatus, I feel that the landscape for music, events and festivals on the Gold Coast is going through immense changes. The demand is ever-present, and over the years, we’ve seen the introduction of new sounds and exciting ideas and, most importantly, punters yearning for more.

Format Festival has been created purely out of love and excitement for the music; we feel we have identified a gap in the entertainment eco-system on the Gold Coast and wanted to make a (hopefully) regularly occurring niche boutique music and arts festival.

The music direction for our festival has been created to showcase new and familiar sounds; from the get-go, the goal has been to present a grassroots concept that is different to what is currently available in the local festival market.

On our main stage, we will be showcasing some of the biggest names in Australian artists such as Hermitude, The Jungle Giants, Confidence Man, Total Giovanni and more.

On our “sun-stage”, we will be presenting new sounds to the area, which are ever-present in Melbourne and Sydney and iconic night-time fuelled cities worldwide.

Over the weekend of the festival, we will be announcing side show’s during the weekend at venues such as; The YOT Club and elsewhere bar. – Charlie Fisher, (Format Festival director)

Format Festival is not be missed, tickets are sure to sell out quick, so prepare yourself for the ultimate day with friends.

Startup Duo Faybl Releases Emotionally Charged Take On Progressive House ‘Island’

by the partae February 19, 2022
written by the partae

Artists: Faybl
Title: Island
Label: Self-released

American startup duo Faybl‘s newest release – “Island,” will take you back to the cathartic, high-energy dance anthems of the early 2010s in the best way possible. The duo’s signature sound is on stunning display with the new track, which opens with soulful vocals belting out heartfelt lyrics like “even if it hurts, even if the tides turn violent, I will be your island.” Faybl slowly build into a goosebump-inducing drop full of big room energy and soaring melodies that make this gem into a tearjerker on the festival stage. Whether you’re a newbie to the scene or a tried and true veteran, this track about offering support to each other during hard times is sure to ignite your emotions and your dancing shoes. Read on for the artists’ inspiration behind the track:

“In a time when many people in our lives and around the world are facing a lot of adversity, we feel it’s more important than ever to emphasize being there to build up and support your friends and loved ones. Much of our current culture is so focused on showing what we have and trying to present the best versions of ourselves that we can often neglect building sound support systems and making sure we participate in supporting those we care about. We wanted to create a house tune with influences from artists like Illenium and Seven Lions to create an emotional yet powerful and fresh take on progressive house and festival culture. We hope this song will inspire people to reach out to their friends and family and remind them how much they appreciate them. Life is short, and we often take the life and people we have while trying to chase something else for granted. We first played this song at the end of our set at Red Rocks opening for Illenium, which is a venue that we had been dreaming of playing from the moment we started making music. With the incredible crowd response, we decided that it should be the song to kick off 2022 with this new sound.“

Faybl is a US-based duo out of Denver, Colorado, already making waves with fans and industry tastemakers alike. “Island” is their 7th release ever, with their most popular single to date being “Love Runs Cold.” This past summer, they opened for Illenium at the storied Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, where they played “Island” live for the first time. Faybl‘s journey has just begun, so ride along on their adventure by following them on Facebook and Instagram.

Charissa

by the partae February 19, 2022
written by the partae

Where are you currently based?

I live in Burlington, Ontario Canada.

How did you first start playing music?

I started playing the saxophone in elementary school and my journey really began at twelve years old when I taught myself how to play guitar on an old Spanish guitar I found in my grandpa’s basement. From then on I started to write my own music!

What’s been happening recently?

Life has definitely slowed down a bit these days with everything going on in the world but I’ve been focusing on creating more and getting ready to release more new music!

Your latest single ‘People Like You’ will be released on February 18, what influenced the sound and songwriting?

I had been listening to Patty Griffin’s “Living With Ghosts” album and found her songwriting style and vocal delivery really inspiring. I wrote “People Like You” during the summer of 2020 and it started out with just a melody I came up with. Almost all my songs start that way and then I’ll try and find a chord progression I like. It was really raw and I brought the idea to my co-writers Chrystal Leigh and Emma-Lee. Emma-Lee heard it like a classic country song and we continued with that vibe in mind.

How did ‘People Like You’ come about?

When I was in Nashville on my first writing trip a few years ago, I had a session with Chrystal Leigh and she had this line idea, “the world could use more people like you” and I remember I really liked it but we ended up writing something completely different that day. That line stuck with me and when I found out my friend had suddenly passed, I came up with a melody and reached out to Chrystal again to write it in his honour.

Where and when did you record/produce/master and who with?

The song was recorded at Coalition Music, Toronto in the summer of 2021, produced by Colin Cripps, engineered by Adam Royce, Mixed by Chris Stringer and Mastered by Peter Letros at Wreckhouse studio.

How did you approach the recording process?

We recorded it all in one take, recording the vocals and guitar together like a live performance. We wanted it to be as real and authentic as possible.

What’s planned to support the single?

I’m doing as much as I can online with interviews and campaigns while restrictions are still in place due to the pandemic but I really hope I’ll be able to meet the people who are listening very soon and play the song live for them.

Who are you listening to at the moment?

I’ve been listening to The Lumineers new album, “Brightside” and Adele!

What do you like to do away from music?

I like to go for bike rides, do anything creative like painting and I love to garden.

What’s planned for 2022?

Releasing my debut EP and playing as many shows as possible!

Favourite food and place to hangout?

I love to hang out at my grandparent’s place! I love being in their company and eating real authentic Greek food.

Fun fact!!!! My guitar is from Melbourne!!! (Cole Clark Guitars)

Jayme Lynne

written by the partae

Where are you currently based?

I’m currently based in Keswick, ON. Keswick is part of the Town of Georgina on Lake Simcoe, about an hour north from Toronto.

How did you first start playing music?

I’ve always loved music, but I think the very first hands-on musical experience for me was when I was around 8 or 9 years old. My friend convinced me to go with her to a choir class in town. I didn’t really want to go at first, but it ended up being a lot of fun and that’s when I realised how much I really love to sing!  Not long after that I discovered Taylor Swift, and she inspired me to learn guitar so that I can write and play my own songs.

What’s been happening recently?

Recently I’ve been keeping busy with the making of the “No Complaints” music video! It’s been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun, and I can’t wait for you to see it!

Your latest single ‘No Complaints’ will be out on Feb. 18, what influenced the sound and songwriting?

There was a girl in high school who bullied me. I was always making a point to be nice to her (you know – kill ‘em with kindness sorta thing) but I feel like doing so only made her more mean to me somehow.  I didn’t really know what else to do, so after school one day I just started writing how I felt about this difficult situation.  It was a cheeky way for me to both rise above the situation, but also fight back a little. I wrote one verse at that time, which is now the bridge of the song. I wrote the rest of it with Al Rowe and Mark Rynkun, and the three of us turned it into the silly, high-spirited song it is now.

How did the single come about?

I’ve been singing this song at gigs for years, and it seemed to always be people’s favourite one. It was only a matter of time before I recorded it, and I’m so excited it’s finally getting out there!

Where and when did you record/produce/master and who with?

I recorded this song in the summer of 2021 at Newcomb Studios, with producer Adam Newcomb (who also mixed and mastered the track) in Northumberland County, ON.

How did you approach the recording process?

My super talented producer, Adam, also played all the instruments on this track, so once those were all done I went in to record my vocals.  We made tweaks and enhancements as we went along, thanks to help from another super-talent, Roberta Michele (who is also my voice coach). Also, for some reason I started thinking about Dolly Parton at some point along the way and I feel like you can sort of hear that in parts of the song, which I’m low-key obsessed with!

Who are you listening to at the moment?

Recently I’ve been listening to some Dolly Parton, Lady Laga, Dan + Shay, and (as always) Taylor Swift. Plus a lot more, but those are the ones that stick out right now!

What do you like to do away from music?

I honestly love so many things!  Firstly, spending quality time with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I also enjoy working out, rollin’ around on my Heelys, and the classic girly-girl things like shopping, makeup, getting my nails done, and dressing up.  Also in my opinion, at the end of a long day, there’s nothing better than watching a movie in comfy clothes with a glass of wine and popcorn!

What’s planned for the rest of 2022?

A LOT! More singles, music videos, recording, live shows (*if COVID lets me), and my debut EP is set to be released near the end of the year!

Favourite food and place to hangout?

My favourite food is popcorn, hands down! In summer, my favourite place to hangout is the beach or a nice restaurant patio for drinks!  If it’s a cold Canadian winter day, my favourite place to hangout is in my bed with 10 blankets!

VANFEST IS SET TO RETURN WITH TWO EVENTS CONFIRMED FOR 2022

by the partae February 18, 2022
written by the partae

The sorely missed VANFEST Music Festival is making its highly anticipated return to Forbes NSW with two events scheduled in 2022.

Kicking off on Saturday 9 April, a scaled back 1-day event aptly called Mini-VANFEST will take place as a teaser before the traditional 2-day format returns with a full line up of international and local artists in December.

In support of the live music industry, regional NSW and the local community the VANFEST team is bringing back all the performances, artists, memories, and magic moments that we’ve been missing these past two years and it is set to  be bigger and better than ever!  Kicking off with Mini-VANFEST to give fans a taster of what’s to come later in the year.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale today at 8am and General Public tickets will be available from 10am on Monday 21st February at www.vanfest.com.au

Mini-VANFEST will host a star-studded line up of some of Australia’s hottest artists, featuring legends like Holy Holy, indie-pop icon Julia Stone, Jarryd James, Eves Karydas, Loretta, the rising reggae-rock powerhouse Rum Jungle, Cloe Terare and local supporting acts, keeping true to the event’s grassroots origins.

“The past couple of years have been devastating for our industry, and the regions, so it gives us great pleasure with the aid of NSW Governments Regional Events program and Festivals Australia, that we have the opportunity to support the industry and the local community by adding a smaller event earlier in the year to get people back outdoors and enjoying the things we have all missed so much,” says Matt Clifton, VANFEST Director.

As an all ages, multi-faceted event, Mini-VANFEST is more than just a music festival. The day will include a wide variety of culture, food, indigenous workshops and experiences beyond big name music acts. Guests are encouraged to bring the family, have a picnic, and enjoy food and beverage from the local regions.

As well as bringing much needed tourism and vibrance to what has been a quiet corner of Australia, VANFEST is supporting the local First Nations community with indigenous workshops presented by the Thumbs Up Foundation, teaching local indigenous youth valuable musical skills, providing a platform of support, and even giving the opportunity to perform on stage at the event and meet the featured artists.

Mini-VANFEST is proudly supported by the NSW Government’s Regional Events Program, Festivals Australia, and Forbes Shire Council.

Mack Moses

by the partae February 18, 2022
written by the partae
Where are you currently based?
Melbourne. Born and raised.
How did you first start playing music?
We had instruments all around our house. My Dad and older brother are also musicians. I didn’t really start super young though – I was only about 16 when I started practicing properly
What’s been happening recently?
Lots and lots of gigs. Music as well as being a passion is also my career, so during the week I perform around town and work at Hit Makers Australia – a Singing & Songwriting school I opened in 2013. I also dedicate at least one day a week to writing for other artists and sync agencies. So heaps happening at the moment!

Your latest single ‘Back Home’ will be out on February 18, what influenced the sound and songwriting?
I love the funk. Funk is a genre, but it’s mainly a feeling, you either have it or you don’t. It’s something that’s written in my upbringing. My Dads band The Declase Brothers were huge influences – my uncles on Bass and Drums just created a groove it’s hard to explain. I have an uncle who DJ’d back in the clubs when funk music was at its peak and he would play us stuff you didn’t hear on radio. It was all around me.

How did you go about writing Back Home?
I was actually going to write something for a house artist hence the straight four to floor drums, but when I started adding elements to it I knew where I had to take it.
Back Home is taken from your sophomore EP ‘Coloured Floors’ that’s set for release in the middle of 2022, please tell us about what this EP means to you:  My first album CASSANDRA is mid tempo hip hop and r&b with massively emotional songs to me. Written in a tough time of life I mean the first line of the first song is “I’ve been lookin for something to get me outta my daze”. Coloured Floors is the sun coming up, it’s for the dance floor. I needed to do it to show both sides of my personality.
Where and when did you record/produce/master and who with?
The album is far from just my input. It has the blessing of about 10 other legends that sprinkled their magic on it. I’ll name names soon but yeah there’s some awesome humans that helped me

What can we expect from this EP?
8 songs. 5 of them will hopefully make you dance. The other 3 is me showcasing my songwriting a little more. There’s a song called ‘Cool’ which I think is my favourite one. Don’t expect anything just play it loud and get what you get!!

Who are you listening to at the moment?
Morning Maxwell
Don Blackman
Dornik

What do you like to do away from music?
Spend time with my family. Life feels like it’s flying by these days!!

What’s planned for 2022?
After this album my focus goes back to the behind the scenes side of things – writing and producing for other artists and creating more opportunities in the industry that way. I’m totally happy moving forward if Mack Moses is the guy you see when you Google who wrote a certain song as opposed to the guy on the artwork

Favourite food and place to hangout?
Ok, so my wife made this dish the other week, she’s vegan so it was like Tofu, Chickpeas, Rice and veggies with all these spices.. man I don’t know what was in it but I reckon it’s my new favourite meal. I added heaps of chilli too it was amazing hit me up if you’re reading this, I’ll ask her the recipe!!!

Coconut Cream, the captivating Eora / Sydney based indie four-piece, today share their latest EP, What Kind of Music Do You Like to Listen to? via Broth Records. LISTEN HERE.

Produced by Middle Kids‘ Tim Fitz, across What Kind of Music Do You Like to Listen to?, Coconut Cream tap into the innocence of feeling. Be it innocuous or tumultuous, their relay of the longstanding subject of love and the sum of its parts manifests itself as immediately and viscerally as a single pinprick. From the tipsy giddiness of a first crush to the physical sickness of a relationship’s demise, Coconut Cream chronicle it all, unfiltered from start to finish.

A familiar tale no doubt, but the magic of Coconut Cream‘s EP lies in the detailed vignettes of the mundane – parking tickets, bus break downs, teacups – unassuming details of the banal that conjure love’s greatest sense, or its most relentless villain: memory. Vocalist Astari Mudana‘s lyrical simplicity, not to be confused with naiveté, rises above a relatability tied through shared misery. It’s her shrewd forte for narrating the memories you didn’t realise you had and forgotten firsts that leave a lasting impression.

“All the songs on the EP are personal stories of mine,” Astari reveals. “Each song has its own feeling and story but there’s definitely a focus on the complexities of relationships and also the emotions that come with them ending. All the tracks started of as acoustic songs that I wrote on guitar. When I brought them to the band they quickly became super vibrant and lush as we explored new ideas and instrumentation to create the sound that you hear on the EP. We were then so lucky to be able to record all these songs with Tim Fitz who really helped the tracks come to life even more in the studio. We as a band all love a lot the same music but are also each influenced by different artists and genres. I think all these separate influences really come through on the EP and give it a unique feeling.”

Joining the animated ‘Your Drug On Computers‘ and melancholic ‘Safety Net‘ includes ‘Overgrown‘ a retrospective on the catharsis that comes with finally letting go; ‘Parking Ticket‘ where the inanimate triggers the realisation of toxic behaviour; the title track, recorded alone in one take at guitarist Oscar Saran‘s back paddock; and focus track ‘More Time‘ an existential crisis of sorts on making career dreams work with life’s deadlines. Warning: What Kind of Music Do You Like to Listen to? may trigger the opening of your deepest adolescent memories and repeated listen upon consumption.

Eliza & The Delusionals drop official visuals for striking new single ‘Give You Everything’

by the partae February 18, 2022
written by the partae

With the countdown to their much anticipated debut album Now And Then now officially on, Eliza & The Delusionals return today, serving up a brand new music video for their insatiable track ‘Give You Everything’.

Bringing things back to high school and leaning into the nostalgia of an iconic kids show served as the inspiration for the ‘Give You Everything’ music video; expertly delivered by Eliza & The Delusionals and filmmaker Nick Maguire.

Filming took place at Kingscliff High School, the alma mater of both Eliza Klatt and Kurt Skuse, with Maguire directing, bringing the band’s teen dreams to life. Inspired by the classic show Lizzie McGuire, the ‘Give You Everything’ music video was shot on 16mm film and featured hand drawn animation to really channel the Lizzie McGuire vibes.

“I remember literally the day we finished demoing the first idea of ‘Give You Everything’ after the writing session, Kurt had started talking about ideas for the music video that we would do one day. Fast forward to 2021, and he had come up with the idea of doing a ‘high school daydream’ with animated versions of us inspired by Lizzie McGuire, which was one of our favourite shows when we were younger. Funnily enough, we were able to use one of the hallways and classrooms at my old high school.

The video was shot entirely on film, which was something we’ve always wanted to do, and directed by Nick Maguire who we thought was the perfect person to bring the idea to life. I remember when we saw the first sketches of us as Lizzie McGuire characters created by Jackulson and we lost our minds. We thought it was so cool. This is definitely our favourite video to date, we’re super proud of it.”
ELIZA KLATT, ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS‘Give You Everything’, written across sessions in Los Angeles with award winning songwriters Sarah Aarons (Zedd, Childish Gambino) and John Hill (Cage The Elephant, Lykke Li) and back home in Australia, is a stellar cut from Now And Then. It represents the strength of the Eliza & The Delusionals dynamic – both as a band and between Eliza and Kurt as songwriters. With mere months to go until Now And Then is revealed in its entirety, the hype surrounding Eliza & The Delusionals resumes; it’s not just the music fans and the band are anticipating with excitement.
The band’s return to live stages in 2022 is major: across March and April, Eliza & The Delusionals will perform their rescheduled shows with The VANNS, as well as their own rescheduled headline tour. The release of Now And Then will also coincide with their return to the international market, with Napa Valley’s Bottlerock Festival landing Eliza & The Delusionals on the same lineup as the likes of Metallica, CHVRCHES, Silversun Pickups, BANKS and more.

PRAISE FOR ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS

“I’d happily let Eliza & The Delusionals soundtrack my entire life.”
Triple J, Claire Mooney

“Eliza & The Delusionals deserve to be one of our greatest indie bands right now, they just keep serving up slices of brilliance and this one is shimmering with golden goodness.”
Triple J, Declan Byrne

“Australian rock band Eliza & the Delusionals are masters of using rock and pop-inflected sound to elicit emotions and pour their hearts out.”
Atwood Magazine

“…the strength of some incredible singles positioned themselves as a band literally everyone needed to know.”

by the partae February 18, 2022
written by the partae

Perth based 19-year old R&B singer NXLLY (pronounced NELLY) is new to the scene but is already crafting a sound that combines raspy R&B with dark soulful undertones.

The young artist has a special way of connecting with her  listeners through her voice. Her voice shows a unique authenticity – which is rare to come across in this day, showing her story of toxicity while simultaneously radiating a blissful narrative of empowerment and vivacity .

If you’re a fan of R&B music with a dark finish, then you’ll enjoy her track ‘I KNOW’. NXLLY takes influence from the vocal tones of Rihanna, the flow of Kehlani and the complex lyric writing of Jhene Aiko. Produced by DINJE, her graceful vocals make the perfect duo to the soundscape depicting empowerment and energy.

Speaking about the track, NXLLY says, “I was inspired to make this song, when I was in a toxic ‘relationship’, I made this song to create an empowering energy for all who can relate ”.

With a dark r&b undertone I KNOW is a work that will bring your late night thoughts alive and seduce a soothing energy giving you the courage to battle toxicity. As NXLLY moves through 2022 with her upcoming release of her Debut EP she’ll be putting everyone on high alert with her penchant for crafting sophisticated songs that complement her undeniable unique vocal talent.

SIOBHAN COTCHIN SHARES NEW SINGLE ‘TUCSON’ + ANNOUNCES DEBUT EP, HIGHWAYS AND HEARTBREAKS – OUT 31 MARCH

“The future queen of Australian country” – Guitar World.

“There’s something incredibly special here.” – Pilerats.

“We’re on board for all the stories Siobhan’s yet to tell.” – Triple J Unearthed

“Siobhan Cotchin is writing songs well beyond her years…her sonic expression is like that of the greats, with the ability to hold regret, agony, and hope within gossamer walls of melody. – Happy

Alt-country singer-songwriter, Siobhan Cotchin creates a landscape of loneliness, wayward cowboys and lost love on new single ‘Tucson’. The 21-year-old West Australian rising star today announces her debut EP is set for release on Thursday 31 March.

On ‘Tucson’, Cotchin creates an intimate snapshot of a character who’s at a crossroads. Centring around a narrator that is being held captive by their small-town mentality, and feeling as though there is “nothing that lies beyond here”. They have outgrown their town but are stuck, surrounded by their unfulfilled desires.

Siobhan sharing, “Tucson’s narrator, in my head, is a lonely dive bar singer whose partner has just left them. They are slowly coming to terms with the reality of being trapped in their small hometown, whilst they have bigger dreams to fulfil.”

Cotchin has proven herself as a talented songwriter, able to simply decode complex human relationships. Her debut EP, Highways and Heartbreaks, tells stories of broken relationships and dealing with the aftermath. With the influence of contemporaries like Orville Peck and Springsteen-esque story-telling, she creates a neo-western landscape that is completely and refreshingly her own.

The 5-track EP captures an inky mood, best experienced in low light whilst driving. From the opening, ‘Didn’t See the Sun’ through to ‘You Me & the Ever Rising Sea’ the listener is transported to another time and place – travelling through the depths of heartbreak, isolation and a longing for escape.

Cotchin has already made a significant mark on the Australian music scene, winning over hearts with her debut single ‘Tear Myself Apart’ and four mesmerising follow-ups ‘Do You Know What I Mean?’, ‘Just The Way It Is’, ‘The Fair-Weather Friend Blues’ and ‘Highway Song’. She’s had multiple singles sitting in the triple j Charts and every one of her releases has been played by national community radio — on repeat.

Siobhan’s heart-hitting songwriting has earnt her an impressive list of accolades including, a spot in triple j Unearthed Top 10 best discoveries of 2020, WAM’s Best Country Act, a nomination for Best Blues / Roots Act, Most Popular New Act for 2021 and the Grand Prize for WAM ‘Song Of The Year’ 2021.

Highways and Heartbreaks is due for release on Thursday, 31 March.
