Thinking About You is Out Now Via Bargain Bin Records
The Unknowns are back with the feel good punk rock song of the Summer “Thinking About You”. They’ll debut the track live with a hometown headline show in Brisbane on December 22.
A sunny, ripper of a tune, “Thinking About You” has arrived just in time to soundtrack your summer fling. A short, sharp ode to that special someone who consumes your thoughts, frontman Joshua Hardy pours his heart out over a bed of nostalgic riffs and unforgettable hooks that would make The Ramones bloody proud.
Hailing from Brissy, The Unknowns have been kicking about since late-2014. The band recently expanded into a four-piece when they welcomed The Chats frontman Eamon Sandwith to the fold (Hardy is also a member of The Chats).
Driven by their passion for timeless music expressing honest emotions, the band delivers an unassuming simplicity to sharing their truth through bursts of garage rock with power pop sensibilities which was on full display on their 2020 debut album, Nothing Will Ever Stop, released via Bargain Bin Records.
On the stage, The Unknowns perform with the kind of freedom and vigour that gets feet moving and has seen them tour across Australia with Melbourne punk pioneers the Meanies, Ed Kuepper (The Saints), Frenzal Rhomb, The Chats, Clowns, Pist Idiots and stacks more.
As an early Christmas gift to us all, The Unknowns will launch “Thinking About You” live at King Lear’s Throne in Brisbane on December 22. Be there or be square.
