Few bands have the ability to cut through the noise and distractions of modern life like Sigur Rós, delivering pure, elemental emotions. Since their formation, Sigur Rós has masterfully combined ambient electronics, orchestral arrangements, and rock elements, all led by Jónsi’s ethereal falsetto. Their journey began with their debut album, Von (1997), but it was their second release, Ágætis byrjun (1999), that earned them international fame.
