A sonic summary of her most prolific musical years, Ninajirachi today announces girl EDM (disc 1), the deluxe edition of her previous EPs girl EDM and 4×4, out this September 6 via NLV Records. Expanding on the narrative Ninajirachi introduced with the initial releases of 4×4 and girl EDM, girl EDM (disc 1) combines tracks from both EPs to mark the perfect vehicle for new fans and day one listeners alike to discover, revisit and familiarise with the Ninajirachi canon before the next phase begins. In another installment of a body of work that showcases Ninajirachi’s range on an individual and collaborative level, today she shares her new track ‘Angel Music’ with NYC-based duo MGNA Crrrta. A perfect anchor point for the deluxe edition, ‘Angel Music’ is a frenzied highlight that finds a way to meet in the middle of both projects’ take on golden-era infused electro-pop.
Hitting the spot with super-bass and bouncy synth leads, ‘Angel Music’ is built on the shared interest of simultaneous dance music innovation and revival, of which Ninajirachi shares “I toured America with MGNA Crrrta in Jan/Feb 2024 and we made this song in New York, then I played it for the first time ever at EDC. MGNA Crrrta are sooooo brilliant and adventurous, their music, videos, shows, everything I’m so obsessed and inspired by them. Angel Music sounds like both of us it’s sooooo girl edm..”. With her feet firmly planted in the Australian industry and international music landscape, Ninajirachi effortlessly draws from her earliest influences of electronic music to pull apart the seams of hard dance, electro house, trance and pop. Showcased in the release of her debut mixtape Second Nature, 2023 EP 4×4 and most recent girl EDM, she’s picked up praise from the likes of triple j, Crack Magazine, Kaltblut, Metal Magazine, Clash Magazine, Bandcamp, Billboard, Frankie Magazine, Rolling Stone, 10 Magazine among others for her innovation and inclusivity in the wider electronic scene.
On the live circuit, she’s toured North America over the last 12 months with festival performances at Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Hard Summer, Breakaway Festival and Imagine Festival, as well as a sold-out Los Angeles headline debut in 2024 and held her own flagship live event Dark Crystal with this year’s special guest, NYC-based producer Doss. An artist pioneering forward-thinking club, pop, electronic, and dance music, the uniqueness of Ninajirachi’s abilities extends past virtual limits, charting her proposition in the winder electronic space both locally and globally.
