“On the rise” Bridget Hustwaite (Good Nights, triple j)
“Deep knowledge of and respect for dance music production” Pilerats
Following the wildfire success of his debut tracks ‘Patterns’ and ‘Inertia’, the South London-born, Nate Brazier returns with his latest single ‘Feels’. LISTEN HERE.
‘Feels’ is an exploration into the beauty of connecting with like-minded people in a world that so often seeks to magnify our differences. Nate explains, “With ‘Feels’ I’m speaking on a certain undefinable synergy, like when you meet somebody and everything seems to fall into place. The verses acknowledge that modern culture profits off our insecurities – I wanted the chorus to feel like a euphoric antidote to that.”
The singer-songwriter and producer is making some of the most hotly-tipped music that has undeniably injected a breath of fresh air into the alt dance space. Pushing the boundaries of future garage, left-leaning hip-hop and alternative R&B, Nate deftly moves between styles and tones, yet remains stylistically coherent. Quick to praise his influences, Nate draws inspiration from the soundscapes of Arca, Burial, Jai Paul and FKATwigs. His early releases have amassed nearly 1 million streams, featuring on Spotify’s coveted POLLEN playlist and has seen co-signs from Kojey Radical, J Rick, and Potter Payper, who recently praised Nate in his BBC 1Xtra takeover – an incredible feat for a brand new artist.
Nate is building his fanbase through a series of cinematic TikTok videos which depict the adolescent world he shares with close friends. Accumulating over 10M + video views on the platform, Nate has simultaneously picked up fans across press and radio including Clash’s ’Next Wave’, NME, Sian Anderson’s ’Next Generation’ on BBC 1Xtra, Jamz Supernova, BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music’s Mary Anne Hobbs’ ‘Hit Reset’ and ’New Music Fix’ playlists. In such a short space of time, Nate Brazier is an essential new artist to watch.
