BEYOND THE VALLEY GIVES CLUE FOR 2023 HEADLINER

Beyond The Valley posters have graced the streets today, adorned with the text “THERE’S NO PLACE I’D RATHER BE” – a phrase from the song ‘No Place’ by RÜFÜS DU SOL. Does this mean the trio will be performing at this year’s Beyond The Valley? If so, there’s certainly no place we’d rather be this New Year’s.

The posters have also revealed a phone number, 1800-BTV-NY23, which connects callers to an answering machine message. The message tantalisingly states, “We’re getting ready to share our 2023 lineup”, and if last year’s lineup is any indication, we are in for a treat.

Beyond The Valley, Australia’s biggest New Year’s Eve camping festival, had its most successful year yet for its 2022/23 edition. 35,000 patrons were treated to an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration held across 4 days. Last year’s highlights included an appearance from global pop star Nelly Furtado, who graced the stage for the first time in over five years, just before Australia’s very own Dom Dolla rang in the New Year and brought Nelly out on stage.

Beyond The Valley’s lineups, coupled with their unwavering commitment to production, art, decor, stage design and theming, has garnered the festival immense popularity and acclaim. Over the past 8 years, it has quickly evolved into one of Australia’s largest music and camping events, becoming a rite of passage New Year’s tradition for many. Notably, last year marked the festival’s inaugural year at its new home at Barunah Plains, with the main stage perched at the foot of one of the world’s largest amphitheatres. The festival featured 3 architecturally designed stages, a wellness sanctuary, luxury camping options, a hidden club through a portaloo, a dedicated podcast stage, speed dating, Poof Doof pride patrol and more.

Beyond The Valley was conceptualised in 2014, and has featured the likes of Nelly Furtado, Dom Dolla, Tyler, The Creator, Honey Dijon, The Kooks, BICEP, Bonobo, Jamie XX, Chance The Rapper, Schoolboy Q, Budjerah, Charlotte De Witte, Little Dragon, Kaytranada, Stormzy & many more.

Beyond The Valley is brought to you by Untitled Group, the largest independent music promoter in Australia and the masterminds behind other renowned festivals such as Pitch Music & Arts, Grapevine Gathering, Wildlands, For The Love, Ability Fest, and more.

There’s no place we would rather be this New Year.
