Today, I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (iDKHOW), the musical project of Salt Lake City-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes, releases their sophomore album GLOOM DIVISION via Concord Records. It follows singles ‘WHAT LOVE?’, ‘GLOOMTOWN BRATS’ and ‘INFATUATION’. Produced by Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT, Weezer), GLOOM DIVISION showcases a boundary-pushing fusion of R&B, post-punk and art-pop, exploring themes ranging from love and obsession to satanic panic and neurodivergence. Recorded at Fridmann’s Tarbox Road Studios and Weekes’ own basement studio, GLOOM DIVISION is a testament to the power of collaboration and fearless artistic expression.

The album release is accompanied by a music video for track ‘DOWNSIDE’ that touches on becoming so enamored with a romantic partner that it can be difficult to find faults in the relationship. A thunderous bassline and whispered vocals open that track that breaks into danceable avant-pop.

The upcoming 2024 North American GLOOMTOWN TOUR kicks off March 15 and has already SOLD OUT 21 of the 27 dates including NYC’s Irving Plaza and Los Angeles’ Regent Theater, with more sell outs on the horizon. SoCal four piece band Benches to support. The tour will continue into Europe and the UK starting on June 15th at Rock For People Festival in Hradec, CZ and ending at the legendary Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, UK on July 3. The Molotovs to support in Europe and Balancing Act to support in the UK. Tickets are available now.

iDKHOW has garnered nearly one billion streams worldwide to date, with two million monthly listeners on Spotify. The new album follows iDKHOW’s critically acclaimed debut,’Razzmatazz’, which included the #1 Alternative radio hit ‘Leave Me Alone’, and the previous EP 1981 Extended Play that included RIAA certified GOLD-certified single ‘Choke’. They have performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ellen and CBS This Morning: Saturday, and shared stages with Post Malone, The Killers and more.
