Perry P, a fairly new name to the hip hop scene in Australia, once again brings some heat to the table with his newest record ‘On The Low’. It comes two short months after his well received second single ‘6IXTY P.’, which debuted on Spotify’s prominent Drip and Mellow Styles playlists.
‘On The Low’, like the Perth artist’s previous music, fuses melodic and energetic vibes, creating an upbeat record fit for fans of the hip hop genre. Perry P cleverly takes advantage of autotune in his vocal performance to maintain the mood over the whole record, while the bass heavy instrumental by MiddieBeats complements the energy throughout the song.
Perry P uses his music as an outlet to put his manifestations out to the world, and talk about his journey through life. ‘On The Low’ is yet another chapter where the artist portrays his quiet grind with the team that he started his journey with.
“To me it’s a realisation that the life I wanna live is only a step away, that all the work being put in will soon pay off in the biggest ways. The title ‘On The Low’ represents the quiet grind I’ve been on to make things happen, me having my head down trying to piece things together, and that I won’t allow any outside thoughts and opinions to enter my inner matrix on my way up.”
Perry P may be a new name in Australian hip hop, but he is definitely one to watch! ‘On The Low’ is now available on all streaming platforms.

ABOUT PERRY P
Hailing from Perth, Australia, not many have a style and cadence as unique as his when compared to his peers within the city. Influenced by this generation’s melodic rap wave, Perry has found ways to bend and push his auto tune driven sound to new bounds, most notably in his first release “Starr Alpha”, a haunting divergent track filled with surprises aimed to give you an outer world experience.
Only new to the scene Perry has already taken his artistry to new heights, recently dropping a highly anticipated track in “6IXTY P”, an energetic piece with production lead by fellow label head and producer 6iixty, and setting the bar for how to come onto a feature on “Pull Up” by artist Kayps, another Perth local.
With limited discography, not much needs to be added as the current music speaks entirely for itself, we only join the journey of this rising talent as he steps forward to lead the charge for all music goers like himself, watch close as one of the fastest rising rappers from the west coast of Australia leaves his imprint on the game.
“The best way I can describe it is, imagine yourself in a space shuttle swerving through meteors at light speed, but everything you hear sounds like an echo and far away, even if it’s right next to your ear. At the same time your booster is powered by a 24 inch chrome spinner with a sub attached to it powered by koolaid, that’s me, that’s Perry P.”
