Raised in the U.S. from age three after being born in Turkey, Tape B’s sound merges nostalgia and innovation, dubbed “Old School x New School.” His journey began at the University of Central Florida, with early 2000s hip-hop and electronic acts like UKF and The Glitch Mob shaping his style. His career took off after a pivotal experience at Lost Lands Festival in 2019. Tape B gained attention through viral SoundCloud mixes and live performances, with his “Yo, Tape B” tag becoming a staple in club and festival culture.
