Cory Marks Announces Sophomore Album and Tour

by the partae November 17, 2024
written by the partae

Genre-blending Canadian musician Cory Marks has announced the release of his second full-length album, Sorry For Nothing, set to arrive on December 6th via Better Noise Music on all streaming platforms. An unapologetic double-barrelled blast of 13 songs, equally divided between roots country and arena-rock, marks the follow-up to his acclaimed debut album, Who I Am, which featured the Canadian Platinum-certified track “Outlaws & Outsiders”.

Cory showcases his dual musicality with two new track releases, “Fast As I Can” and “Whiskey For Sale”. “Fast As I Can” is an exciting, feel-good country track with a fun, foot-stomping chorus that will have you hooked and singing along to every word. “Whiskey For Sale” is a perfect blend of bluegrass, country, and a heavy rock chorus, narrating a love story that has taken a turn.

“The record is really who I am,” says Cory Marks. “The title says it all. I love rock and I love country. It’s a kick in the ass, the good, the bad and the ugly, the ups and downs of life, adding that little bit of fuel to the fire to keep you fighting, to keep your eye on the prize. There are songs for partying, songs to look back on life and have a good cry, love songs…something for everyone.”

Produced by longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Shania Twain, Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach), Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman), and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert), Sorry for Nothing is highlighted by guest appearances from Sully Erna (Godsmack), Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe), Travis Tritt and DL (Bad Wolves). Pre-orders are available now on CD or digital download at https://corymarks.ffm.to/sfn.

In addition to the upcoming album release, Cory is looking forward to heading to the U.S. later this fall to open for multi-platinum rock group Theory of A Deadman. The “Unplugged” tour runs October 29th to November 23rd with Cory performing an acoustic set featuring songs from Sorry For Nothing and Who I Am, tickets are available now HERE. See full list of dates below.

Cory has previously toured North America with diverse artists including Five Finger Death Punch, ZZ Top, Travis Tritt and Brantley Gilbert, while also having joined Nickelback on the main stage at the annual Boots and Hearts festival in Toronto in 2023.

SHIHAD Announce The Final Tour

by the partae November 13, 2024
written by the partae
SHIHAD
The Final Tour
 Loud Forever 1988 – 2025
With Special Guests Battlesnake & BodyJar (Melb Only)
Tickets on sale 9am Local Time Nov 13 from via shihad.com

Forged in the fires of 1988’s thrash metal scene, Wellington’s SHIHAD quickly evolved into one of Australia’s most beloved bands. SHIHAD (Jon Toogood, Karl Kippenberger, Phil Knight, Tom Larkin) has sold over a quarter of a million records, released ten studio albums, received multiple ARIA nominations, won countless Aotearoa Music Awards and toured endlessly through the world’s most loved clubs, festivals, and arenas. Touring with metal icons like Faith No More, Tool, Back Sabbath, Motorhead and one of their biggest early influences, AC/DC. Live is where SHIHAD is truly an oversized presence.

In 2010 SHIHAD were inducted into the Aotearoa’s Music Hall of Fame, firmly establishing themselves as New Zealand’s biggest rock band.

With gaps between albums increasing, growing commitments outside the band, and band members’ inability to give SHIHAD the time, focus and dedication it needed and deserved, they made the hard call to end the band. While opinions within differ, they are united in agreement that half-assing SHIHAD was never an option.

To celebrate thirty-six years of memories and milestones, the band announces Loud Forever – The Final Tour.

“We’ve had as much fun as we’ve had moments of disappointment and of anger,” Karl says. “But we’ve also had some real special moments.”

“The fundamental chemistry and makeup of what makes SHIHAD special and what makes SHIHAD work requires certain things to be in place,” Tom explains. “When you can’t sustain those things or plan for those things, it takes away from SHIHAD being something that makes sense. It’s about a shared commitment and a shared energy.”

Phil muses. “You know, personal relationships and professional work don’t always survive forever. But we’ve lived it all. We really have. We’ve lived the life that so many musicians would give their right arm for.”

“We need to pay homage to the legacy of this band, because it’s meant so much to us and also to the people that have supported us,” Jon says, before adding, “We’re gonna fucking hit it!”

SHIHAD’s songbook is teeming with iconic tunes like Run, The General Electric, La La Land, Pacifier, My Mind’s Sedate, Deb’s Night Out, Gimme Gimme, Wait and See and the brutal I Only Said (1993), their highest charting single which pounded its way to No.3. And, you can’t forget Home Again, their instant classic that became an anthem not just for SHIHAD, but for all Kiwis abroad.

The upcoming LOUD FOREVER tour offers both the band and its nation of fans the opportunity of a fittingly loud and raucous farewell.

Charlie Needs Braces is back with a new single ‘This Land’
+ Accompanying collage video
+ Announces NYAA WA (Take Care) Album for 2025

Playful with a powerful message, Charlie Needs Braces is back with a new single ‘This Land’ that calls for everyone to learn the history and heritage of the land you are on, and announces an upcoming album NYAA WA (meaning Take Care) out Thursday 20 February. The new single is accompanied by a collage inspired video working with collaborator and director Master Kapow, following on from her last single ‘Dyarrubin’, and is out Wednesday 13 September. Getting ready for a summer of live shows, Charlie and Miri will perform at Djerriwarrh Festival and The Town this November, and join The Teskey Brothers in January 2025 for A Day On The Green.

A proud GuriNgai woman and direct descendant of Bungaree and Matora, Charlie’s new single celebrates First Nations people’s connection to Country and the importance of learning the individual history behind the names and places. In true Charlie fashion a lush soundscape of their signature harmonies and bird calls of Australian wildlife, set to her looping drum beats. ‘‘This Land’ is inspired by the deep meaning and stories embedded in the Aboriginal names of places. Each name carries a history, a connection to the land, and valuable information about the area. Through this song, I wanted to highlight the importance of these Indigenous names and the stories they tell, encouraging all of us to reconnect with and respect the true heritage of the places we live in.’ – Charlie Needs Braces

Created and directed by Master Kapow, the ‘This Land’ video clip was created collage style with layered images of animals and plants from old National Geographic magazines, maps and street signs, and an Aboriginal map highlighting the traditional names of places in Australia. Miri and Charlie are layered amongst the patchworked landscape, travelling to different places and planets in the universe.

‘The goal was to create a visual experience that mirrors the song’s message—celebrating the deep, interconnected stories of the land. It was a challenging and slow process but so rewarding after seeing the final product, and I’m proud of how it all came together by the end.’ – Master Kapow, Director and Videographer

Charlie Needs Braces has drawn in audiences across Australia, her energetic musical landscapes weaving together stories and language. She is also known for her work with Casey Donovan, The Teskey Brothers, The Seven Ups, and Tek Tek Ensemble. Her debut album ‘Saltwater People’ saw her single and video clip featured on RAGE, was triple j Unearthed Artists of the Week, and was recently featured on the ABC documentary ‘Changing Tides’ as part of a NAIDOC week special. TYLER HILTON ANNOUNCES AUSTRALIAN RETURN IN 2025

U.S. MUSICIAN AND ACTOR TYLER HILTON ANNOUNCES LONG-AWAITED AUSTRALIAN RETURN IN 2025

Set to bring his beloved catalogue of music, including this year’s NO MAN’S LAND EP, American singer-songwriter and actor Tyler Hilton will be back in Australia this summer.

Touring for the first time since 2017, Hilton’s Australian return is long-anticipated, as much as it is an excellent opportunity for new waves of fans to connect with the artist through his acclaimed live show. Performing music from across his entire catalogue, including favourites featured in the iconic One Tree Hill series, Hilton is coming back to Australia packed with all the goods.

Releasing No Man’s Land in July, Hilton has been revelling in a new creative chapter of his career. In the years that have passed since his last Australian visit, Hilton has been kept busy with a variety of projects across music and film – including composition work for the Margot Robbie-produced film My Old Ass and writing his first children’s book, Daddy Live In Concert, due for release in 2025.

The release of No Man’s Land signalled a return to rich sonic form for Hilton and from it, the excitement for Hilton’s eventual return to stages soon followed. For Australian fans, this tour is a way for Hilton to reconnect with his “favourite place on Earth”.

“I have been DYING to get back to Oz since I came for the first time ever in ‘17.  Meant to get right back then the pandemic happened and it took a sec for me to get everything back on track. I had no concept of Australia before I came. No real idea of the culture or what the cities looked like.. it just hadn’t really spent much time in my brain. I landed in Sydney, hit Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth and my life was changed. I was like, “What is this magical place??”

The food! The people! The beaches! The coffee! I still drink flat whites as my daily drink to this day after that trip. I bought an acoustic guitar there from a local luthier to help commemorate my time there. I wanted to hold onto it so badly. Anyway, the point is, I’m BEYOND excited to be returning and so thankful to still have a fan base there to justify the trip!!”  TYLER HILTON

Regarding his return to music via the No Man’s Land project, Hilton is open about how creating this record reignited a passion for his artistry and importantly, his connection to the performance aspect of the craft.

Re-emerging from the period of pandemic-induced downtime, as well as time spent on other projects and simply enjoying family life, Hilton has a hunger for being in front of audiences sharing in music together once more.

“I remembered how important playing live was to my soul and my artistry, and how hard it was to replicate anything close to that musically in a studio setting. Not to mention reconnecting with the fans.. who I missed so much during the pandemic!

Once I started I didn’t want to stop and figured I should let that energy carry me around the world for the first time in a long time to reconnect, sing old songs, and share some new ones. This is truly a tour unlike any other I’ve ever done. I’ve never missed the fans more or appreciated them more fully.” TYLER HILTON

For a whole generation of fans, Hilton’s notoriety is timeless – his role as Chris Keller on the iconic teen sports drama One Tree Hill enshrined his position within the legacy of 2000s US television; while his accolades as a performer have continued to grow.

Whether it was portraying a young Elvis Presley in the Academy Award winning film Walk The Line (a film Hilton also featured on the soundtrack of); appearing in Taylor Swift’s iconic ‘Teardrops On My Guitar’ music video; or going on to achieve two Top 40 Billboard Singles and touring with the likes of Swift, Keith Urban, John Mayer and more, Tyler Hilton has maintained a strong following and presence between the worlds of film and music.

Tyler’s tour marks the first shows in Australia for the leading independent concert and entertainment production company MRG LIVE which is based in Canada.  The MRG Group has offices and venues in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Victoria and New York; operates 9 venues and 10 hospitality properties.  The company produces over 500 concerts a year with a wide range performers and is expanding its activity to Australia under the leadership of Josh Lane who had previously been an agent in Australia for over 10 years and is now based in Toronto working MRG on developing an Australian-North American talent pipeline for the company.

PRAISE

“His talent for creating moments of shared vulnerability and joy with his listeners is undeniable.”
MELODIC MAGAZINE

“…carefully crafted arrangements and considered song structures, the record is an intimate piece of Americana…”
XSNOISE

“…tantalizing wisps of velvety momentum, harmonic fluency, and the marvelously textured surfaces of Tyler Hilton’s dulcet voice.”

Tour Announcement | New Bloom Fest 2025 Feat. Basement, Balance and Composure, DRAIN, One Step Closer, Sweet Pill & Glitterer

Bringing the golden age of DIY hardcore shows and all things alternative into a modern setting, in 2025 Australia will play home once again to the freshest up-and-coming artists in the scene with the return of NEW BLOOM FEST, a curated touring festival showcasing all things alt rock, post-hardcore, grunge, punk, and everything in between.

Following its hugely successful inaugural year in 2024, including a sold out Melbourne event, NEW BLOOM FEST is back with a sweltering round two for 2025 in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, headlined by British brooding rock heroes BASEMENT, and joined by hypnotic American icons BALANCE AND COMPOSURE, California hardcore punks DRAIN, melodic indie heavy hitters ONE STEP CLOSER and the debut Australian performances for innovative emo mavericks SWEET PILL, and Washington post-hardcore bohemians GLITTERER.

With NEW BLOOM FEST once again set to flaunt the incredible next generation of stars in the scene under one roof. Stay tuned for a second announcement where they’ll reveal a bunch of Australian artists that will join the festivities for each respective city.

With a seamless symmetry between 90s emo and grunge, channeled through a contemporary lens, Suffolk five-piece BASEMENT have journeyed through four studio albums, multiple periods of hiatus, headlining Outbreak Fest 2024 upon their return, a recent appearance at the iconic When We Were Young Festival + selling out the iconic Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles (3,000 tickets) within minutes of going on-sale and cultivating millions of streams, views and worldwide fans since forming back in 2009. Evolving from serpentine pop punk leanings on their debut album, 2011’s I Wish I Could Stay Here, BASEMENT have gone on to knit beauty and brooding into honest, raw lyricism, big-room guitar soundscapes, and narcotic melodics, witnessed most ardently on their breakout singles including Covet, generating over 140 million streams of Spotify alone and counting, as well as Are You The One, Whole, Pine and Oversized.

Meadow 10 returns for 2025 – final festival at the Bambra Bowl

by the partae November 12, 2024
written by the partae

Meadow 10 returns for 2025 announcing it will be the final festival at the Bambra Bowl
+ Announces first act, MJ Lenderman (USA)

One Full Circle. Meadow Number 10. Our Last Festival

“An exciting testament to the sheer diversity of local talent which forms our thriving music landscape” – Beat Magazine

“The Meadow Festival is fast becoming one of the most deftly curated events on the country’s live music calendar” – Dan Condon, ABC (Double J)

“Meadow: is this hyper-local micro-festival the way forward for Australian music?”
– The Guardian

Victoria’s beloved surf coast festival Meadow is returning to the Bambra Bowl in March 2025, for their 10th and final installation of the event. With the full 2025 line-up announced soon, the team are thrilled to welcome American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MJ Lenderman, who will be back in Australia for a special performance on the Meadow Stage.

From humble beginnings on the back of a delivery truck, powered by a borrowed generator, in a mate’s paddock in Bambra, Meadow has grown and developed a loyal community and reputation for presenting line-ups on the cutting edge of contemporary music each autumn. The small, and every bit iconic, stage has hosted the likes of Kurt Vile, Lucy Dacus, Confidence Man, King Gizzard & The Lizard, Angie McMahon, Stella Donnelly, King Stingray, Camp Cope, Methyl Ethel, TFS, Black Midi and many more emerging and established local artists over the last decade.

MJ Lenderman – Credit: Charlie Boss

A hero with the guitar, a poet with the pen (or perhaps the notepad app on his phone) and a songwriter for the ages, MJ Lenderman has skyrocketed to notoriety with the delivery of his near perfect fourth record, Manning Fireworks. It’s impossible to comprehend how this album carries such a throw-away insouciance but harbours some of the sharpest lyrical couplets you could encounter amidst its layers of distortion and rusted-wire guitar solos. It’s like screaming “I don’t care!” at the top of your lungs whilst carefully putting something back together that you’ve just smashed to pieces but doing it in such a way that it’s a thousand times more meaningful, beautiful and precious than it ever was before.

Following his 2022 breakout record Boat Songs, MJ was seen trotting laps around the globe in fellow breakout act Wednesday, alongside touring his own music, as his audience awaited his next release. Described by Pitchfork as ‘witty, sincere, and the mark of a songwriter finding his voice’, MJ Lenderman will be bringing all of the magic of Manning Fireworks to Bambra next year for Meadow’s final festival.

Every vehicle attending the festival will require a car pass. All proceeds support replanting native trees and shrubs across the festival site and surrounding areas (via East Otway Landcare). Hundreds of baby trees from past plantings will be starting to mature by the time punters arrive in autumn!

The “Bambra Express” bus passes are available for the 2025 event.

A $62 + BF return pass will get you from Melbourne Southern Cross Station to Bambra and back again.

With a cosy capacity of 1500 tickets, Meadow’s intimate environment provides a one off opportunity to experience an all-mighty party, guided by the finest musical programme to bid farewell to the Bambra hills one last time.

Limited Release Tickets are on sale Tuesday 12 November for Meadow Number 10.

‘THIS NEVER HAPPENED’ RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA FOR PHONE FREE EVENT FEATURING MASSANE & EMBRZ

Friday 17 January – 170 Russell, Melbourne

Saturday 18th January – Liberty Hall, Sydney

PRESALE SIGN UP

Untitled Group, together with Lane 8’s renowned label ‘This Never Happened,’ have announced two exclusive events set to take place this January. With melodic house DJs Massane and EMBRZ taking on the two headline slots, alongside Samantha Loveridge, the unparalleled, immersive, phone-free event is set to take place in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Created by globally renowned DJ and producer Daniel Goldstein, known as Lane 8, the ‘This Never Happened’ concept was born out of a desire for audiences to fully engage with the music without distraction. Since its inception in 2016, the series has invited fans to experience music more intimately, asking them to put their phones away and “experience the moment, don’t record it,” a philosophy that continues to resonate across each show and gathering.

After debuting the event in Australia to sold-out success in 2023, fans can once again expect a deeply atmospheric show without phone screens or cameras – a rare chance to experience the music wholeheartedly with no distractions.

Headlining the event in both Sydney and Melbourne will be Massane and EMBRZ, supported by Samantha Loveridge.

French melodic house DJ and producer, Massane, is known for his signature blend of sonic textures and ability to evoke deep emotion through his music. The artist has drawn widespread attention since his debut EP ‘Visage 1 (No Return)’ on Lane 8’s label, ‘This Never Happened,’ in 2020 and has recently released his ‘Visage EP 7 (Spin My Head)’ in 2024. His sunrise live set for Dawn on the French Riviera, with its captivating visuals and guitar-led tracks, has amassed over 1.5 million views to date proving he is a tour-de-force in the current melodic house landscape.

Dublin-based DJ, producer and singer-songwriter EMBRZ (Jack Casey) is globally celebrated for his chill house sound that seamlessly blends tranquil house melodies with heartfelt lyrics. Known for hits like “Where You Are” and his latest album In ‘Our Own Way’ (2023), EMBRZ has gained a dedicated following and fan base with over 200 million streams to his name and over a dozen sold-out shows worldwide including New York and Toronto.

This Never Happened’s two exclusive events are supported by Untitled Group. Untitled Group is Australia’s largest independently owned music and events company, renowned as the masterminds behind much-loved festivals, including Beyond The Valley, Pitch Music & Arts, Wildlands, Ability Fest and more.

The first instalment of This Never Happened will take place in Melbourne at 170 Russell on Friday 17 January and will finish up in Sydney at Liberty Hall on Saturday 18 January.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to truly disconnect and experience an event live, with no distractions.

Hideout Festival Turns 15: Phase One Lineup & Tickets On Sale

by the partae November 10, 2024
written by the partae
Hideout is Croatia’s most essential festival experience and it returns for an epic 15th anniversary edition from 22nd – 26th June 2025 with another immense line-up of electronic music talent. This non-stop five-day party marathon plays out across the legendary Zrce Beach on five bespoke stages with cutting-edge production and a famously energetic crowd. Tickets are on sale now at https://go.kaboodle.co.uk/HO25 so act fast to secure your spot at what will be a historic edition of this game-changing festival.

As 2025 marks Hideout’s 15th year, it returns with a fresh new look yet retains a contemporary but accessible feel that reflects the festival itself. Musically, new levels will be set with another unmatched mix of names from across the house, garage, electro, techno and drum & bass spectrum as new stars, pioneering legends, and global favourites all line up.

The first wave of names announced are Alan Fitzpatrick, AK Sports, Azyr, Benga, Bou, Bubble Love (Ross From Friends), Camo & Krooked, Charlie Sparks, Danny Howard, Darius Syrossian, Diffrent, Djammin, Dr Dubplate, East End Dubs, Eats Everything, Eliza Rose, Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer, Enzo Is Burning, Enzo Siragusa, Fish56, Octagon, Gaskin, Girls Don’t Sync, Hannah Laing, Hedex, Hitty, Hybrid Minds, Interplanetary Criminal, Ivy, Jakkob, Josh Baker, K Motionz, Kettama, Ki/Ki, L.P. Rhythm, Notion, Olive F, Oppidan, Overmono (DJ), Paige Tomlinson, Patrick Topping, Paul Woolford, Sammy Virji, Sarah Story, Skream, Solardo, Sosa and Special Request.

Says Mark Newton, Festival Director, “As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we’re excited to be back at one of the world’s most beautiful festival locations: Zrce Beach. It’s incredible to witness the growth of Hideout over the years, and to once again present a lineup that blends established artists with emerging talent, something that has been hugely important to us since our very first event. A huge thanks to our incredible team, both in the UK and Croatia, for making this magic happen year after year.”

Zcre Beach becomes an adult playground for this annual celebration of all things electronic. The host venues of Noa, Papaya, Kalypso, Aquarius and Euphoria are some of the best rated in the world according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs. They are all located on the beach, just yards from the glistening sea and across from a stunning mountain range, with open air stages, high spec sound systems, bespoke production and a vibe that cannot be matched.

From humble roots with just a few hundred people attending, Hideout Festival has grown to lead the way in Croatia’s summer scene for a decade and a half. No other event can match its all-action offerings, deep and carefully curated line-up and the community that attends each summer. They are young and dedicated to the music like no other, which means atmospheres are always off the charts, which adds to the vibe of each party whether dancing under the sun or stars across an array of boat parties, pool parties, the infamous opening beach party, and plenty more exclusive headline evening performances.
The fun doesn’t stop when the music stops at Hideout, of course, because there is a wealth of extra adventure to be had from high octane water sports, banana boats, jet skis, pedalos and the famous bungee jump, to more chilled out offerings like massages, cocktails, and sushi on in the Hideout Beach House.

Hideout sells out each and every summer and the 15th edition will be no different, so make sure you secure your ticket and let the countdown to another epic week in the sun begin.

The best way to secure your place at Hideout is to book accommodation (which ranges from affordable to luxury) and flight packages directly through the festival for a deposit of £149. These packages offer huge discounts, monthly payment plans and other benefits like early access to boat party tickets – take the hassle out of booking a group holiday and plan this most essential summer experience now.

FRENCH SPACE POP ICONS AIR RECREATE THEIR VOYAGE TO THE MOON, ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE MELBOURNE SHOW AS PART OF ALWAYS LIVE 2024 PERFORMING DEBUT ALBUM MOON SAFARI IN FULL ON DECEMBER 4 AT SIDNEY MYER MUSIC BOWL

Marking the 25th anniversary of their genre-defining debut, Moon Safari, iconic French electronic duo Air are thrilled to announce their return to Australia for an exclusive Melbourne show on December 4, 2024. Presented as part of the ALWAYS LIVE 2024 series, Air will perform their celebrated Moon Safari album from start to finish, bringing their kaleidoscopic sounds to life at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for one night only.

Originally released in 1998, Moon Safari quickly became a global sensation, lauded for its lush electronics, swooning melodies, and European retro-futurism. With timeless hits like “Sexy Boy,” “Kelly Watch the Stars,” and “All I Need,” the album captured a generation’s imagination and carved out an enduring place in pop culture, going on to inspire artists from Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker to filmmaker Sofia Coppola. For founding members Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, both of whom met while studying astrophysics and architecture, Moon Safari represented an ethereal, otherworldly vision that brought their talents to the world stage.

Reflecting on Moon Safari’s lasting impact, Dunckel once noted, “We were a duo doing some electronic thing, dreaming of selling 10,000 copies and being recognized by other musicians as cool. Then suddenly, we met the world.” Today, Moon Safari continues to enchant listeners with its dreamy sonic landscape, what Dunckel describes as “a deep, universal spell, full of love and mystery,” while Godin calls it simply “perfect.”

ALWAYS LIVE Chief Executive Officer Psyche Payne expressed excitement about the addition of Air to the program, stating, “It’s incredible to watch our season grow, giving even more opportunities for people to enjoy live music right here in Victoria. Adding the legendary duo Air to our 2024 program, performing their iconic Moon Safari album in an open-air setting, is an exciting highlight in an already jam-packed 17 days of live music across the state. All Regards Drop ‘PEICES’ from Debut EP

by the partae November 6, 2024
written by the partae

All Regards share new single “PEICES” and unveil their debut EP ‘ALL OUR DREAMS TURN TO NIGHTMARES’

Melbourne pop-punk rockers All Regards have released their debut EP, ALL OUR DREAMS TURN TO NIGHTMARES, along with a new single and video titled “PIECES” featuring John Stokes of Drastic Park. To mark this launch, All Regards will perform live in Melbourne at the Bergy Bandroom on November 22, with tickets available now.

The EP, produced by Jack Newlyn (Between You & Me, Eat Your Heart Out), channels themes of grief, loss, and addiction through four reflective tracks, aiming to provide listeners a space to connect with its heartfelt lyrics. The band previously teased the EP release date with their single FALLBACK, and the collection also includes earlier releases NO RETURN and LET ME DOWN (GENTLY), leading up to this week’s focus single, PIECES. In PIECES, All Regards explores deeper emotional and sonic territory, with a breakdown featuring Stokes that highlights themes of filling an emotional void, whether from loss or lack of closure.

“Lyrically, this song is a cathartic patchwork of different stories from recent years,” explains vocalist Jeremy Allen. “One story recalls an old friend from high school who went missing without a trace, while another reflects on a close friend’s suicide that left unanswered questions. The song embodies feelings of regret, dreams, denial, and anger.”

Consisting of Jeremy Allen (vocals/guitar), Stefen Sepulveda (guitar/vocals), Mark Fuhrmann (bass), and Lachlan Marshall (drums), All Regards has quickly risen through Australia’s alternative music scene, with notable features on triple j and editorial placements on Spotify and Apple Music. Since their debut single Trainwreck in 2020, the band has played numerous live shows, culminating in a sold-out performance at The Tote in 2022.

This year, they continued to expand their reach with their single SOS and their first interstate shows in Canberra, Launceston, and Adelaide, supporting notable alternative acts like Bad Juju, Reside, and Waxflower.

ALL OUR DREAMS TURN TO NIGHTMARES is now available for streaming on all platforms
