SLEAFORD MODS Announce new album The Demise of Planet X Out 16 January via Rough Trade New single ‘The Good Life’ out now 2026 AU + NZ tour on sale now

by the partae October 22, 2025
written by the partae

Sleaford Mods will release their new album, The Demise Of Planet X, on 16 January 2026 via Rough Trade Records / Remote Control Records. The record is available to pre-order and pre-save now.

Sleaford Mods will return to Australian and New Zealand shores in April 2026, playing shows in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Wellington and Auckland. Tickets are on sale now via https://www.handsometours.com/tours/sleaford-mods-2026/.

Andrew Fearn and Jason Williamson’s most expansive and ambitious release to date, the album features a rare guest appearance from former Life Without Buildings frontwoman Sue Tompkins, plus collaborations with Aldous Harding, soul singer Liam Bailey and grime MC Snowy, the latter two both hailing from band’s hometown Nottingham.

In her first foray into music, actress Gwendoline Christie (Wednesday/Severance/Game Of Thrones) also joins Midlands band Big Special on Sleaford Mods new single ‘The Good Life‘, which is released today accompanied by a video directed by Ben Wheatley (The Kill List/A Field In England/Bulk).

Boasting the duo’s most varied and expressive musical approach so far, The Demise Of Planet X charts, critiques and satirises our times, while offering a universal cry of anger and release of energy that pushes against the encroaching cultural darkness.

Contemplating the world coming to an end not with a big bang but in slowly rising tide of irritating mundanity, The Demise Of Planet X strikes back with vivid sonics, acerbic words, enveloping atmospheres and a engaging wit across 13 tracks that will move hearts, minds and feet.

“The Demise Of Planet X represents a life lived under immense uncertainty, shaped by mass trauma,” declares frontman Jason Williamson. “When we wrote the last album, it was about stagnation, a country that felt like a lifeless corpse. Three years later, that corpse has been split open by war, genocide, and the lingering psychological fallout of Covid whilst social media has mutated into a grotesque, twisted form of digital engineering. It feels like we’re living among the ruins. A multi-layered abomination etched into our collective psyche.”

He adds: “I don’t want to pat myself on the back while the rest of the world falls to shit, but we’re really happy with The Demise Of Planet X. The music and ideas are really fresh and it’s in your face, but it pays to put your glasses on to look at the ingredients.”

First single, the aforementioned ‘The Good Life’, captures this mix of public and personal apocalypse, as Andrew Fearn’s urgent beats and enticing melodies combine with Williamson’s machine gun diction to chart the impact of some of the Sleaford Mods’ frontman’s more infamous comments on the current music scene. Big Special and Gwendoline Christie give voice to his conflicted and tormented inner voices mopping up the fallout his outburst cause.

“’The Good Life’ talks about slagging bands off and the joy and misery that causes me. I’m asking myself why am I slagging bands off. Why is it a continuing thing with me? My inner voices are brought to life by Gwendoline and Big Special, debating that internal tension between me enjoying a good life or submitting to the mayhem,” explains Williamson.

The track’s video, available to watch now via the band’s YouTube channel, brings these voices together in the flesh under Ben Wheatley’s charismatic direction.

“It’s brilliant to be working with Andrew and Jason again on a Mods promo, this time teaming up with the amazing Gwendoline Christie and Big Special,” declares the British director who was previously responsible for Sleaford Mods’ Mork n Mindy video. “I’m a long-time fan so it’s always exciting to get the call to come out to play.”

Alongside ‘The Good Life’, the album features cliche-bursting 2025 single ‘Megaton’, ‘Elitest G.O.A.T.’ with its light-as-cloud guest vocals from Aldous Harding, the reflective, toxic masculinity pricking ‘Bad Santa’ and the Magic Roundabout-infused bouncy rap of the title track.

Nottingham singer-songwriter Liam Bailey adds a soulful lament to world-weary MAGA takedown ‘Flood The Zone’; grime rapper Snowy drops decisive bars on ‘Kill List’s’ horror hip hop (its central imagery inspired by Ben Wheatley’s film of the same), while for ‘No Touch’ Sleaford Mods managed to lure Sue Tompkins from the much-missed Life Without Buildings back into the studio. Duetting with Williamson, the pair’s distinctly human voices intertwine over a slinky bass and music box keyboard motif.

Several limited-edition versions of The Demise Of Planet X will be available on release, which can be pre-ordered now.

For the next 48 hours only, an exclusive ‘black label’ starlight sparkle vinyl version of the album will be available via the band’s mailing list. A glow in the dark edition, boasting a luminous LP and glow in the dark gatefold sleeve design is available from the band and Rough Trade Records’ webstores, while independent record shops are selling an exclusive, neon green marbled edition. The album will also be available on black vinyl, CD and cassette, the latter coming in a fetching shade of toxic green.

Additionally, in a salute to their hometown, the ‘Nottz picture-disc’ edition will be exclusively on sale only from shops within Nottingham.

The Demise Of Planet X follows Sleaford Mods’ 2023 state-of-the-nation album, UK GRIM, the duo’s most successful record to date which earned them their highest UK chart position, going straight in at Number 3. As previously announced, Sleaford Mods will hit the road following its release.

Watch The Temper Trap’s Breathtaking New Video for ‘Giving Up + PERFORMING SOLD-OUT AUSTRALIAN TOUR DATES THIS WEEKEND

by the partae October 22, 2025
written by the partae

The Temper Trap unveil the cinematic video for their new single ‘Giving Up Air’. Filmed at the iconic Trellick Tower in London, and featuring cameos from lead singer Dougy Mandagi, the clip traces the personal journey between a young father and his teenage son, building to a powerful climax – a raw and delicate exploration of struggle, responsibility and searching. Directed by Andrea Banjanin (The Vaccines, Geowulf) it’s the perfect visual accompaniment to the single (already over 2.5 million streams), whose synth-driven, euphoric chorus contrasts beautifully with lyrics that explore the weight of grief.

“Giving Up Air” is a very important song for me about a life-changing moment and the unimaginable pain of losing a loved one in tragic circumstances – from the initial shock to sorrow and then anger, and finding glimmers of hope somewhere in between.” – Dougy Mandagi

The Temper Trap play sold-out east coast tour dates this weekend, before jetting abroad for performances in London, Canada, New York and LA. They’ll return home for a key slot at this year’s Beyond The Valley at year’s end.

PARIS WELLS & FINLEY FRANÇOIS set to celebrate the release of their collaborative album ‘LOUNGE OF THE FLAMINGO’ at Melbourne launch

by the partae October 22, 2025
written by the partae

Acclaimed Melbourne-based songwriters Paris Wells & Finley François are gearing up to debut their new project – set to play through their album ‘Lounge Of The Flamingo’ for the very first time on the 27th of November at George Lane in Melbourne.

Released in August this year, ‘Lounge Of The Flami ngo’ is a lush, Latin-inspired lounge masterpiece. Drawing subtle influences from Nouvelle Vague, Astrud Gilberto, and Cesária Évora, the project highlights Wells’ & Francois’ versatility, refined artistry and a 20-year working partnership.

Paris Wells has had a career full of achievements and milestones over the last two decades. She’s supported the likes of Rod Stewart, Justin Timberlake, Robyn & Plan B on tour and played at festivals such as Falls Festival, Big Day Out, Meredith, Sydney Music Festival and the 2010 AFL Grand Final. She has collaborated with international DJs such as Kaz James, and made TV appearances on Spicks & Specks, Adam Hills In Gordon Street, Good News Week & Rockwiz. She toplined for Bliss N’ Eso’s ‘Field of Dreams’, taken from the ARIA Award winning album ‘Flying Colours’ (2012) and shot to worldwide fame with her single ‘Overbite’ which was used by Elie SaaB for their Cannes Film Festival campaign in 2014. To this day she has over 1 millions streams to her name, across her catalogue.

Finley “pHinioUS” François, originally from the picturesque shores of Mauritius and now based in the vibrant hub of Naarm, is a multifaceted artist in music. His journey, marked by curiosity and creativity, began with spinning vinyl at parties and has evolved into crafting a rich tapestry of sounds as a DJ, producer, and musician. His early career included airplay on Kiss FM and being part of Fizard, one of Australia’s pioneering live hip hop groups that won Triple J’s Unearthed competition in 2003. Over the years he has been commissioned to write music for various shows and installations, including projects for NICA and Arts Access; has performed at iconic festivals such as Mona Foma, the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Cabaret Festival, St Kilda Festival, and Womadelaide; & has shared the stage and collaborated with artists such as GrandMaster Flash, Chris Brown, Rod Stewart, Kelly Rowland and most recently Snoop Dogg at the 2025 AFL Grandfinal along with the likes of Jessica Mauboy, Tash Sulatana and Baker Boy.

‘Lounge Of The Flamingo’ sees the pair hitting new heights collaboratively – with a sexy-stillness and persistent groove throughout the LP that doesn’t force the big moments, but reels you in with a confident calmness and attention to detail. Wells and François were a well-oiled machine at the time of recording, with Wells’ explaining “The team in this project was so solid and the happy musical partnership with Finley really shines through, we are a the point of finishing each others sentences, that shit takes time, this is my/our best body of work yet.”

Thematically, the album is less social commentary, and more of a reflection of Wells’ life right at this moment; “this time I was determined to capture not only humor, but calm and passion and family. I refuse to make any more ‘sad vagina’ music, I’m a happily married mum, shit can be hard but I want to give people the calm we all strive for. The Lounge of the Flamingo cares not about your social pages, Kardashian cages and your friends with strangers. It cares not about keeping up with the Joneses, or running away with the crowd. The Lounge only asks for your calm, so sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.”

Recorded live at the Frying Pan Studios housed within the iconic MONA gallery in Tasmania, Wells was pregnant throughout the session – described by the pair as ‘sitting down like a ripe queen’ throughout the process. The album also features vocals from Kylie Audist (the Bamboos, Cookin’ on 3 Burners) on ‘Down In Mexico’, as well as a string composition from renowned Tasmanian composer Dean Stevenson & his orchestra for ‘Strange Days’.

Talking on that time writing and recording at MONA, François comments;“What’s not to love about Afro Latin music! Paris and I spent many years backstage & on the road speaking about a jazz base album as a side project, but that didn’t stick for me. When the opportunity to record at the newly built Frying Pan Studio, Paris mentioned she’d been diggin’ some lounge vibe tunes. I said “yes” let’s do that! Flamingo was born! My  journey on piano started with Afro Latin jazz music so it was a beautiful place to return too, our reinterpretations of  the covers was a dope process- rock to lounge! There’s always a positive energy in this genre, a celebration of all that is life!

Tickets for their launch show in Melbourne on the 27th of November are available now. On what fans can expect from the special performance, the duo say; “Think Peggy Lee meets Karen Meets Astrid Gilburto. Lounge of the flamingo could easily be Bad Bunnies Aussie warm up band without wanting to speak to the manager after”

by the partae October 21, 2025
written by the partae

The 6000-capacity space promises a full spectrum experience with game changing light and sound

A nightlife revolution is coming to central Bangkok with the opening of FVTURE, a new global nightlife landmark built to hold a staggering 6,000 people. FVTURE is the first Asian Hyperclub to be built on this vast scale and is the most technologically adventurous venue in the region. It has been built from scratch with a unique vision and unwavering passion that will set a new benchmark in entertainment, sound and immersive design. FVTURE is set to launch this December.

Designed to rival the most iconic venues across Ibiza, Las Vegas and Berlin, FVTURE is a leap into tomorrow; a purpose-built, next-generation hyper club where cutting-edge audio-visual technology and world-class electronic music converge in one multi-sensory explosion.

FVTURE arrives at a pivotal time for Thailand’s creative economy as the government opens the doors to global events like Tomorrowland, EDC, Creamfields and Circoloco. Until now, Bangkok has lacked a singular venue capable of hosting artists and audiences on an international scale. FVTURE fills that void and then some.

With state-of-the-art production, VIP lounges, modular side stages and a calendar open to global touring shows, label takeovers and live performances, FVTURE is poised to position Bangkok firmly at the heart of the Asian electronic music scene.

Say Co-founders Victor and Michele Wang, “FVTURE is a statement of intent. Bangkok has long deserved a venue that stands alongside the global greats and that’s exactly what we’ve built. From sound to visuals to community, we’ve designed FVTURE from the ground up to really break into new frontiers and give Asia the truly mind-blowing club it’s long deserved. The team we build is key to this – we put big importance on personality when hiring staff and only bring onboard people that are excited about FVTURE. This helps us set exactly the right and define the special character of the whole project.”

FVTURE’s main room is powered by the first ever L2 & L2D L-Acoustic system in Asia, boasting over 40 subwoofers and a multi-array configuration for unparalleled sound clarity and punch. Visuals are equally mind-blowing with 500sqm of LED wall at the front and another 500sqm of modular LED throughout the venue creating a 360° visual playground. .

FVTURE is the brainchild of a team with deep roots in nightlife, music and international hospitality: Victor Wang brings expertise in cross-border nightlife operations. COO Michele Wang is a seasoned operations leader driving long-term sustainability and execution and Pablo Vas is an acclaimed music director and DJ behind concepts like Down Temple and Tucan Bangkok who will lead FVTURE’s sound and programming.

FVTURE is built to welcome Bangkok locals, regional tastemakers and international ravers. With a huge capacity, sound and visuals designed to stun, and a team dedicated to elevating the scene, FVTURE is here to reshape the future of clubbing in the region.

Interview: Ren Barlow – From Opera to Intimacy: How Life, Loss, and Love Shaped ‘The Songbook of My Heart’

by the partae October 21, 2025
written by the partae
How has your relationship with music evolved over the years, from opera and ensemble performances to the deeply personal storytelling of ‘The Songbook of My Heart?’

My relationship with music has really evolved alongside my life. I started in classical training and ensemble work, where it was all about discipline, technique, and blending with others — which taught me structure and respect for the craft. As a child and teenager, I was singing jazz, country and Rock n Roll, but as I’ve grown and gone through my own experiences — love, heartbreak, resilience — music has become something far more personal. With ‘The Songbook of My Heart,’ I stepped fully into storytelling. It’s not about perfection anymore — it’s about truth. Every note, every lyric comes from lived experience. It’s my voice, my emotions, my story. I think that’s the beauty of music — it grows with you. Where once I sang to perform, now I sing to connect, to heal, and to remind others that they’re not alone in their own stories.

What does this album represent for you on a personal level, and how does it reflect the chapters of your life you’ve lived through?

This album represents a lifetime of love, heartbreak, loss, growth, and ultimately — self-rediscovery. Every song reflects a chapter of my life — the moments where I lost myself, the times I had to rebuild, and the beautiful, unexpected ways love kept showing up — even when I thought it was gone for good.

‘The Songbook of My Heart’ is really about finding strength in vulnerability. It’s about acknowledging the pain but choosing to keep your heart open anyway. For me, it’s a closing of some chapters and the beginning of a new one — one where I finally sing for me, not for anyone else. When I listen back, I hear the woman I’ve become — softer, wiser, braver — and I’m proud of her. This album is my truth, wrapped in music.

You’ve described Linda Ronstadt’s music as a companion — how has her work influenced your voice and the way you interpret songs in this project?

Linda’s music has been a companion to me through so many stages of my life. She had this incredible ability to move between strength and vulnerability — and that really shaped the way I approach my own singing. When I was creating ‘The Songbook of My Heart,’ I wasn’t trying to be Linda — no one ever could. Linda Ronstadt is her own force, her own magic. I don’t compare myself to her because I’m here to bring my own truth — my own authentic voice and lived experience.

For me, this project was about honouring her artistry while also allowing who I am to come through — the woman, the heart, and the stories behind every note. In many ways, Linda helped me find the courage to be myself.

When reimagining these iconic tracks, how do you strike a balance between honouring their legacy and infusing them with your own soul and perspective?

When I approached these songs, I wanted to honour their legacy with the deepest respect — because they’ve meant so much to so many people, including me. But I also knew I couldn’t just recreate what Linda had already done so perfectly. My responsibility was to find my truth within them.

So, I spent a lot of time sitting with the lyrics, really connecting to the stories and how they related to my own life. I asked myself, “What does this line mean to me now, as the woman I’ve become?”

What do you hope audiences feel as they experience these songs live?

When people come to my shows, I really want them to feel — to go on the journey with me. I want them to feel how I lived through these experiences, because every song in ‘The Songbook of My Heart’ is a true reflection of my life. Each one carries a story — the hurt, the tears, the love, and the strength that shaped who I am today. My hope is that the audience not only connects emotionally but also feels recharged — like the music has helped them release something or remember their own resilience. These songs were my way of healing, and now I want to share that energy so others can feel a little more open, a little more hopeful, and reminded that no matter what we go through, our hearts can always sing again.

Many of these tracks are tied to pivotal moments in your life. Is there one song in particular that holds a deeper meaning than the others?

Yes — ‘Long, Long Time’ holds the deepest meaning for me. It really represents the closure of my marriage and that experience of loving someone who doesn’t truly see you. There’s a heartbreak in that song that’s so honest — it’s the quiet kind of pain that stays with you long after the moment has passed.

When I sing it now, it’s no longer about sadness; it’s about acceptance. It’s about finding peace and strength in letting go. That song became a way of closing one chapter of my life and opening another — one where I love myself first, and where I can sing from a place of truth, not longing.

You’ve channelled your platform into powerful advocacy — from literacy to ovarian cancer research. How do these causes intertwine with your work as an artist?

My main focus has always been literacy — because I believe it’s the foundation for empowerment. For me, literacy isn’t just about reading; it’s about giving children and women the tools to find their voice, to make informed choices, and to shape their own futures. That’s why my work combines reading, music, wellness, and financial literacy — they’re all forms of expression and self-belief.

At the same time, I’ve lost someone very dear to me to ovarian cancer, and I have close friends who’ve been affected. It’s deeply personal — and as a mother of girls and a son. I feel a responsibility to do whatever I can to raise awareness and support research. For me, advocacy and artistry go hand in hand. Music connects the heart, and advocacy gives that connection purpose. Together, they’re how I try to make a difference.

After stepping away for personal reasons, you’ve spoken about finding your voice again. What has that process of rediscovery taught you about yourself?

Stepping away from music was one of the hardest but most necessary decisions I’ve ever made. During that time, I had to face a lot — to heal, to rebuild, and to find the courage to trust my own voice again.

That process of rediscovery taught me resilience — that even when life quiets you, your true voice never disappears, it just waits for you to be ready. It also reminded me to never give up on a dream, no matter how far away it might seem.

Coming back to music has been about freedom and self-belief — realising that my voice isn’t just something I sing with, it’s who I am. And once you reclaim that, no one can take it from you.

Beyond this project, you’re working on a full-length album of original songs. How will that body of work expand on the story you’re telling now?

The full-length album of original songs is really the next chapter of my story. ‘The Songbook of My Heart’ was about honouring where I’ve been — the loves, the losses, and the lessons that shaped me. But this new body of work is about where I’m going. It expands on that story by moving from reflection to rebirth — it’s more confident, more open, and filled with hope. These songs come from a place of strength and freedom, written from my own experiences and truths. It’s about stepping fully into my voice as a songwriter and a woman — still tender, still real, but now completely my own. If The Songbook was about healing, this next album is about becoming. So, watch this space!

Looking ahead, how do you see music and activism continuing to shape your legacy — and what impact do you hope your art leaves behind?

Looking ahead, I see music and activism continuing to work hand in hand. For me, art has never been separate from purpose — it’s a way to shine a light, to empower, and to create change.

Through my focus on literacy — empowering children and women through reading, music, wellness, and financial understanding — I hope to help others find their own voices, just as I’ve found mine. And through supporting ovarian cancer research, I honour those I’ve lost and protect the next generation, including my girls.

Ultimately, I hope my legacy is one of impact and authenticity — that people feel I used my platform to lift others, to remind them of their strength, and to never give up on their dreams. If my art can touch hearts, open minds, and leave the world a little better, then I’ve done what I came here to do.

MR. WORLDWIDE PRE-PARTY’ HITS MELBOURNE — FREE BALD CAPS, FIREBALL AND A 5-HOUR PITBULL MARATHON BEFORE FRIDAYZ LIVE – ROYAL MELBOURNE HOTEL

Presented by Danny Rants

Royal Melbourne Hotel is turning into ‘Planet Pit’ this Friday, hosting the city’s most ridiculous (and possibly most on-brand) warm-up party before Fridayz Live kicks off at Marvel Stadium.

From 12pm, the team behind RMH are running a 5-hour Pitbull marathon — every era, every remix, every “Dale!” — soundtracking an afternoon of bald-cap giveaways, Fireball shots, and unapologetic chaos and fun.  Guests can score a free bald cap (1000 at the door), sip on Fireball specials from the bar and grab a classic pub feed before the mariachi band leads the crowd (literally) to Marvel Stadium for the main event from 4.30pm.

The party will feature:

1000 Free Bald Caps – because there’s only one Mr. Worldwide energy.

Fireball Suits & Merch Giveaways – the most extra pre-party outfit you didn’t know you needed.

Live Mariachi March to Marvel – kicking off from 4:30pm.

All-Day Parmas, Drinks & Normal Pub Service

5 Hours of Pitbull – every hit, no shame, no stopping.

“Look, if you’re going to see Pitbull, you might as well go full Mr. Worldwide,” said Danny Rants who is hosting the event said. “We’re giving Melbourne permission to be bald, loud and happy for a day.”

The event is free entry, walk-ins only, and expected to be packed by midday — so get in early, grab your cap, and channel your inner Pitbull before Fridayz Live begins.

629 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC
Friday 25th Oct – from 12 pm | Mariachi March to Marvel from 4:30 pm

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD ANNOUNCE FED SQUARE RAVE SET, TAKING PLACE THIS FRIDAY, 24 OCTOBER

KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD ANNOUNCE FED SQUARE RAVE SET THIS FRIDAY, 24 OCTOBER

+ PERFORMING ROCK & ORCHESTRAL SHOWS IN SYDNEY, MELBOURNE & BRISBANE THIS DECEMBER

Credit: Maclay Heriot

Freewheeling DIY heroes King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announce a rave set at Fed Square this Friday, 24 October.

King Gizzard make techno now?? That’s right: live, unscripted, improvised electronic music using their eurorack-modular setups. For casual King Gizz fans, this is outrageous, even for a band known to genre-hop as much as they do. “Aren’t they a rock band?” “Judas!” For folks who follow the band closely, this has been a long time coming and many years in the making.

Frontman Stu Mackenzie shares, “Come on down. Freak out with us. You ain’t never seen this many patch cables in your life.”

The free-all-ages event will be the debut of their rave set in Aus and the band’s first show on home soil in over two years. Taking place at Fed Square, Melbourne’s home of free live music, the King Gizzard rave set follows recent performances from Eddy Current Suppression Ring, KNEECAP, Glass Beams, and Caribou, which have seen huge numbers turning out to dance in the iconic public square.

King Gizzard will be supported by Merve, a trailblazer within the underground dance music community. Now Berlin-based, the Naarm/Melbourne native has performed at some of Australia’s biggest stages. From sweaty underground basement parties to sold-out large-scale festival stages, a set from Merve will pull you in and take you on a journey.

The rave set comes ahead of King Gizzard’s December tour, which will see them play across multiple nights in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Playing songs from their vast catalogue, including the 2025 album, Phantom Island, the tour includes performances at the Sydney Opera House and Sidney Myer Music Bowl, with a 29-piece orchestra led by conductor and musical director Chad Kelly, in addition to full-length rock shows.

Their ability to switch from a synth-heavy, electronic-influenced rave set to conductor-led orchestral shows and raw rock-and-roll mayhem is another example of why King Gizzard are one of the most prolific and unpredictable bands of our time. Fifteen years and 27 albums into their epic quest, you might think they’d be running out of new frontiers to traverse, new concepts to explore, new ways to radically reshape their paradigm. Their upcoming Australian shows prove the opposite is true, showcasing their latest record, Phantom Island, the 27th entry into the Gizzard Discovery, as not a fixed statement, but as a living, evolving body of work that transforms with each performance and setting.

Prepare to dance and witness KGLW evolve in real time this Friday, 24 October, as they navigate a fully modular synthesis table that shares the same beating heart of their ethos: ambitious, improvised, and epiphanic.

CAMERON WHITCOMB: ADDS SECOND MELBOURNE & BRISBANE SHOWS TO THE HARD WAY TOUR DUE TO HIGH PRESALE TICKET DEMAND

by the partae October 20, 2025
written by the partae

+ New shows presale commences 3pm AEDT today
+ General on sale for all shows commences Tuesday 21 October, 12pm local time

Following overwhelming demand in today’s presale, Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce additional shows in Melbourne and Brisbane for Canadian country powerhouse Cameron Whitcomb. Proving to be one of the hottest tickets in town, Whitcomb’s The Hard Way Tour is shaping up to be an unmissable debut headline run across Australia & New Zealand this May 2026!

Known for his gritty voice, high-octane performances and raw storytelling, Cameron will play new shows at the Forum, Melbourne (Sun 10 May) and The Tivoli, Brisbane (Wed 13 May). Presale allocation exhausted for the first Forum, Melbourne (Sat 9 May) and The Tivoli, Brisbane (Tue 12 May) shows.

Presale tickets for the two new shows commences 3pm AEDT today, Monday 20 October and joins the existing Frontier Member presale for all previously announced shows, running until Tuesday 21 October (11am local time). The general on sale commences tomorrow, Tuesday 21 October (12pm local time). Tickets and tour info via frontiertouring.com/cameronwhitcomb

Watch: Cameron Whitcomb – Fragile (Official Lyric Video)

Cameron Whitcomb has quickly become one of country music’s most exciting new names. Since the release of his breakout 2024 EP Quitter, the 22-year-old has earned over 600 million global streams, headlined shows across North America and Europe, and landed on Spotify and Amazon Music’s 2025 Artists to Watch lists, all before dropping a full-length album.

Hailing from British Columbia and with a story as bold as his sound, Whitcomb’s journey from pipeline worker to breakout country star has been anything but ordinary. Cameron Whitcomb is the rare artist with the courage to uncover his most uncomfortable truths. His debut album The Hard Way, shares his most powerful work yet: a selection of songs that willfully stare down his demons, instilling every moment with equal parts grit and sensitivity and explosively poetic detail, including the chart-climbing singles ‘Medusa’ and ‘Quitter’ (ARIA Gold status) and  ‘Hundred Mile High’.

Don’t sleep on the debut Cameron Whitcomb live shows in Australia and Zealand this May!
