Picnic London presents a double room takeover at the UK’s most treasured clubbing institute, fabric, for their 10th birthday celebration. Having long held a place in the hearts of the capital’s raving circuit, as well as building a new community in pockets around Europe, they now set the bar even higher by marking their 10th year in style across fabric’s Room 1 and Room 2.
Since launching in 2012, Picnic have been the epicentre of many memorable moments at a vast selection of distinctive international clubbing spaces, including Hackney Marshes, Victorian Vaults, FOLD, Studio Spaces, BRET Amsterdam, Doka Amsterdam, Hoppetosse Berlin and Lion & Lamb to name just a few. As well as making their mark internationally event wise, the past few years has seen the picnic label release music from artists such as Martinez and Pelle and additionally launch their own festival brand Someplace Somewhere, giving revellers a new dimension of the picnic party experience.
The artists most frequently affiliated playing for picnic are the kind that are best known for their deep digging prowess, and the cast of international selectors they have lined up to celebrate their 10th year is no exception. First lady of Berlin house tINI will make her debut for the event and will perform a special b2b with French mastermind Dyed Soundorom. Joining them will of course be picnic resident Andy Luff alongside Slow Life records co-founder Laurine, man of the moment Sweely, a b2b between Jane Fitz x Jade Seatle representing themselves under Night Moves, a live set from Italian duo Data Memory Access (Giammarco Orsini and Jacopo Latini) as well as Mother Earth – the London female duo who are promoting gender equality through music.
