Obstacles won’t get in the way of SARAI’s 20-20 vision. 2019 was a stellar year, re-introducing herself to the world as a real MC and taking Aussie hip-hop by storm. Spotlighting her pursuit for glory and self-love on anthems “Winner Represent” and “All My Life”, SARAI caught the ears of many local and international tastemakers, most notably fellow Aussie hip-hop pioneer Tuka (Thundamentals). SARAI was personally invited to support Tuka for his “Selling Me Out” Tour in Newcastle and Brisbane, leaving fans hyped and begging for more. Now into the new decade there are no more excuses, no holding back – it’s time to be ‘on my way’ for this female powerhouse.
“On My Way”, SARAI’s first self-produced track, is a wrap on her life story and the soundtrack to her relentless hustle. SARAI combines rock guitars and trap beats with a ‘Ginuwine-“Pony”-like’ bass for an all-out explosion of adrenaline necessary to concur all the demons and distractions. Mixing influences of Rihanna and Banks, SARAI is fighting off all challengers, creating her own destiny by creating her own sound.
