Franky Rizardo announces the launch of his new label, LTF Records with four-track EP ‘Primrose’. The culmination of a number of years hard work, the Dutch DJ, producer, promoter and now label head proudly presents an outlet for his own music.
Encompassing an immersive feeling of energised focus, involvement, and enjoyment of his journey within the industry so far, LTF Records (Listen To Flow) is Franky Rizardo’s new platform to transport his listeners and followers into a flow state of mind.
One of The Netherlands finest exports, Franky Rizardo has long established himself as an international touring artist, as well as a name well renowned within his own country. Being ever present on Dutch national radio station, SLAM! has provided him with the perfect platform to develop and nurture a label that is crafted with clear intentions and identity; delivering uncompromising music based on his own experiences with the industry. Building a career based on strong philosophies, Franky has consistently aimed to do his own thing, keep everything in perspective and most of all, have fun.
From ingraining himself within the ANTS and elrow camps, to releasing on labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Rejected, Saved and 8Bit, Franky has become a name synonymous with deep driving house music that blurs the lines between Techno and House. The multi-faceted Dutch artist has also represented himself and his brand FLOW, at events such as Tomorrowland, Fabric – London, Shelter – Amsterdam, Amnesia – Ibiza and Soho Garden Dubai, further cementing his status as a one of electronic music’s most dynamic individuals.
Across four-tracks on the ‘Primrose’ EP, Franky focuses his energy firmly on the dancefloor, keeping people locked into his flow state. Opening with ‘Primrose’, the tracks low-end rumbles throughout, supplying the perfect atmosphere to keep the crowd moving. ‘Faze’ offers a wonky blissed out vocal alongside stabbing synth. Whereas ‘DC Terrace’ is a nod to the peak-time movements at Ibiza’s famous club, DC10. Closing the EP ‘Clouds’ provides an energised up-tempo focus track to engage to zone.
The label launches at time when authenticity within the industry is key. Franky continues to focus on his own output, never taking himself too seriously and always keeping full perspective on the task at hand. Inviting you to join him with LTF Records, Franky wants you to enter his flow state of mind.

It was April 2017 and as the sun rose on the North American West Coast, it seemed something particularly outrageous would ensue on the beautiful coastline. Landing in San Diego, a pair synonymous with a thirst for life, German electronic duo and ‘Superhouse’ pioneers Andhim arrived to embark on their North American Tour, yet something different was afoot; they would travel for an entire 10 days, 2,000 miles in a 30ft RV, hunting the American dream for beers, boobs and burgers. Now bringing together a detailed and aptly humorous account of their travels, Andhim present their west side story tour diary and movie, ‘Miles To Go’.
“We rented this 30feet speed monster for a 10-day road trip along
the west coast of America. In the end we went 4000 kilometres in this RV.” – Andhim
A crew of five, Simon, Tobi, Camera man Manoah and tour managers, Griffin and Josh, they took for the open road, immersing in an array of musical, cultural and culinary experiences as they travelled across San Diego, LA, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, before ending in Vancouver. Following the highs and lows of their journey, ‘Miles To Go’ sees Andhim proceed in true Andhim style; the lows were always approached with a distinct sense of comedy; overflowing toilets, fridges flying open in transit and 39 cent microwave burritos that tipped the scales on their inadequately arranged eating habits across the tour.
“The whole tour was terrible for our bodies. Shitty food, no motion, no sleep
and a lot of parties. It was like an anti-health campaign. A defiant protest
against all the cold pressed juices and Acai bowls in the world.” – Andhim
Embracing the wild and whacky areas of their trip, Andhim can be found eating interesting, off-kilter taco selections and hosting an after-hours at their RV in San Diego, moonwalking across Hollywood’s walk of fame, camping in the Red Woods of California, before spontaneously heading towards Big Sur. Embracing the freedom that travelling in an RV offered, ‘Miles To Go’ is an amplification of Andhim’s outward charm and infectious hilarity.
Having been shown at film festivals across the globe including Filmarte Festival, Berlin, Filmfest Bremen and Universal Film Festival in Kansas City, ‘Miles To Go’ was awarded ‘Best Score’ at Swindon Independent Film Festival, UK and ‘Best Documentary Feature’ at San Diego’s IKFF.
Andhim’s ‘Miles To Go’ is an all-encompassing look at two DJ’s taking touring back to its roots and ditching the private jet and champagne lifestyle.
Shown At:
Filmarte Festival – Berlin 2019 (Germany)
On Art Film Festival (Poland)
Filmfest Bremen 2019 (Germany)
Universal Film Festival, Kansas City (USA)
Cuzco Underground Cinema Festival (Peru)
Short Long World Festival, Corrientes (Argentina)
BangkokThai International Film Festival, Bangkok (Thailand)

Jemma Tweedie, otherwise known as LILURA, has announced the release of her new track Disaster. Released today, it was planned for a Summer release date alongside tour dates but with those now postponed indefinitely given the current situation she decided to share it with the world today.
LILURA, said: “Disaster came about when I was out on a writing trip in LA back in 2017 so I’ve had the song for a while now. It was originally written about a confusing crossroads between two relationships, so it has a bit of a dark meaning, but it still sounds fun and bouncy. I wanted to get that feeling across to the listener also. However bad a situation is we can always find a bit of a bright side! In the current world climate, I feel like it now takes on a bit of a double meaning. This is why I had the urge to release it now, it just feels right!”
After spending much of 2019 on the road with their EP Good Time, Hideous Sun Demon are back for a new decade with what is perhaps their most direct piece of music yet – the cranking ‘Gimmicks’. Sitting somewhere between Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Gang of Four and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, the newest from Hideous Sun Demon will sit well with longtime fans, while introducing a new and tight sound to the public as a whole.
Admitting that they were growing bored with the sounds that had formed the foundations of their early material, Hideous Sun Demon went back to the drawing board when conceptualising this new phase of the band and what they wanted it to sound like. Working with Casey Hartnett (King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard), Jeremy Giddings (Hot House Studios) and Joe Carra (Crystal Mastering), ‘Gimmicks’ came together as a reimagination of the music the trio loves, the essence of their dynamic as performers. “We had kinda gotten into this formulaic approach to songwriting that was defined by fuzzy guitars and doomy riffs. We were eager to adopt a wider breadth of influences, especially since Jake and Vin bonded over their love of post-punk and New Wave in their youth. We’ve started playing with cleaner guitars, writing songs that have a higher focus on tight playing rather than balls to the wall noise, as well as broadening what our sound can be. That’s essentially what Gimmicks is.” Hideous Sun Demon
Throughout last year, Hideous Sun Demon were honing their craft on stages throughout Europe, with the Good Time EP bringing them to the radars of many. Following on from 2018’s FAME, EROTIC, DREAM album (the band’s third), their 2019 material showcased a band that was further exploring their sonic identity. Heading into 2020, Hideous Sun Demon are flexing their songwriting and live muscles more than ever.
PRAISE FOR HIDEOUS SUN DEMON
“Hideous Sun Demon are both the odd kid on your street burning their toys with a magnifying glass and the warped, melting plastic figures themselves. Reckless abandon and gleeful horror all at once.”
Triple J Unearthed, Dave Ruby Howe
“A young band kicking genre’s expectations in the teeth.”
The AU Review
“Hideous Sun Demon have a solid sound that makes them stand out in the most beautiful way possible…they are easily one of the most exciting and interesting bands around.”

With many artists with Australian tours originally scheduled for the first half of 2020, The VANNS have been working hard in adapting to these strange COVID-19 times and have announced that their national Red Eye Tour has been rescheduled to take place in September.
The band has been powering through the last year off the back of the release of Through The Walls, wasting no time in continuing to spur on the awesome momentum the album’s release with impressive shows, and a well-received Like A Version cover of Bon Iver’s ‘Hey Ma’ to further display their versatility.
The South Coast group has more recently followed up the album’s release with an alternate version of the striking album track, ‘Jules Said’; the music video of which is officially released today! Featuring members of GOSH and Pacific Avenue, the ‘Jules Said’ clip is all about capturing the band’s feel good energy at Wollongong’s Howlin’ Wolf Bar. “We’ve been long time fans and mutual friends of THE VANNS, so when they came to us to produce their next music video, we were thrilled and of course took it on. We thought nowhere would better fit the vibe and story of the clip than Howlin’ Wolf Bar in Wollongong; Luke (from Howlin’ Wolf) was super hospitable and gave us full reign of the place for the whole day, which really helped us bring our vision to life.” Tom Fletcher & Liam Mahoney, Teel Studios
Written by Jimmy Vann and Cameron Little, this version of ‘Jules Said’ expands upon the original album version, with the band hitting the studio with Grammy nominated, ARIA winning producer Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths, Pharrell Williams) to bring it to life. “Jim and I wrote ‘Jules Said’ in my bedroom in under an hour. It was the first song we finished writing for Through The Walls. We were doing a lot of writing on Logic and trying to come up with ‘cool sounds’ for a while, and then we went out to lunch and were like, ‘When we get back, let’s just try and write something with two guitars and no computer’.” Cameron Little
Along with the band’s film clip release, fans of The VANNS can be getting around the special vinyl edition of Through The Walls, on sale now. A debut album that was met with industry acclaim upon release (including the lucrative Triple J Feature Album spot) , Through The Walls was taken straight into the hearts of fans around the country. What’s more, $5 from every vinyl copy of Through The Walls sold will be donated to Support Act and the Sound Of Silence campaign, both of which are working hard to ensure Australian musicians are supported in this hard time. “We’re donating $5 from every vinyl sale to Support Act, an organization that does great work by supplying relief and supporting all people who work in the music industry in a time of crisis.” The VANNS

“Another strong track from this froth-worthy band. The VANNS have gotta be one of the best indie rock acts in the country right now.”
Triple J Unearthed, Dave Ruby Howe
“Easy to see why The VANNS have popped off in such a big way in recent years. They know their way around a pop rock winner like they wrote the map.”
Triple J Unearthed, Tommy Faith
“The four piece have grown to become a quintessential name to the Australian rock scene and the many pockets of brilliance it contains, taking a ‘quality AND quantity’ approach to songwriting that ensures that they’re never quite forgotten about without having to compensate in their work’s strength.”
Pilerats
“Packed to the brim with the charm and infectious hooks that we’ve come to know and love from the band, along with evocative and emotional songwriting.”

If you need an emotional release from the current state of the world, look no further than R3HAB‘s new collaboration “Good Example” with singer/songwriter Andy Grammer. The song takes the format of a parent speaking to their child, and Grammer‘s voice on the tender lyrics is guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings. “Good Example” opens with Grammer‘s soulful performance over delicate acoustic guitar melodies, which break down into a groovy and melodic drop courtesy of R3HAB‘s expert touch. It follows R3HAB‘s recent release “Creep” with GATTÜSO and is his first collaboration with Andy Grammer, whose hits like “Don’t Give Up On Me” and “Honey, I’m Good” have made him a favorite artist of millions of listeners in the pop-rock/country-pop circuit.
“Andy Grammer‘s voice has always been one of my favorites. With this track it’s no different – good example is exactly that – a good example of a great song. Andy‘s message fits the track perfectly, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.” – R3HAB
“‘Good Example‘ is a song about the conflict of being with your kid or chasing your calling. This is an impossible decision, and sometimes showing them how to passionately go after your dream means spending time away.” – Andy Grammer
Over the last eight years, the Dutch/Moroccan artist Fadil El Ghoul – better known as R3HAB – has established himself as a leader at the forefront of modern electronic music. His talent has been called the “future of the craft” by the likes of Forbes and Billboard, and he’s circuited the globe’s best clubs and festivals, all without the backing of a formal record label. In 2017, R3HAB independently released his debut album “Trouble” through his imprint CYB3RPVNK, which amassed over a half-billion streams globally and officially placed R3HAB among electronic music’s heavy hitters. He made number 14 on DJ Mag‘s Top 100 list in 2019, topping the charts with tracks like “Lullaby” and “Hold On Tight,” while his sophomore album “The Wave,” revealing more complex, emotional and experimental layers of himself, has amassed over 250 million streams on Spotify alone. In 2019 R3HAB‘s “All Around The World” with A Touch of Class quickly became his biggest ever record already topping 200M streams across platforms and achieving gold & platinum status in 8 countries. It was followed by “Flames,” R3HAB‘s collaboration with ZAYN.
Andy Grammer‘s relatable and emotive music has made him a household name since 2011 when throughout his debut album Andy released to the world his first hits, such as “Fine by Me” and “Keep Your Head Up.” His second album “Magazines or Novels” was released in 2014, and featured “Honey, I’m Good” which is his most successful song to date, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. This single has been certified triple-platinum RIAA and was ranked one of the ten best-selling songs of 2015 by Nielsen SoundScan. Andy Grammer‘s music can range from upbeat to heartbroken, and the honesty of his songwriting is part of his appeal. He also hosts his “The Good Parts” podcast, where he and guests, which have included Mike Posner and Sam Harris, which is available on his Youtube channel.
