“Lucid lyricism matched with exquisite production, Sasha continues to define her sound without slacking away from the energy” – Clash
“Delicious slice of ambient pop” – The 405
“Feel-good indie-pop” – Earmilk
London singer-songwriter Sasha shares her latest dazzling dose of electro-pop with brand new single Ouch!, blending unique and interesting soundscapes with pop production, euphoric choruses and quirky, self-deprecating lyricism.
Incorporating the vivid influences of contemporaries Rae Morris and The Japanese House, the 22-year-old’s reflections on the nuances of living in the capital as a millennial twenty something feature heavily in her music and this newest effort is certainly no different.
Grasping widespread acclaim from the blogosphere (DIY, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Earmilk) with previous release Waterworks, and honing her live show in the process with several sold-out London shows, Sasha’s reputation continues to soar with emotive offeringOuch! set to push her further into the spotlight.
Speaking ahead of the single release, the talented newcomer stated: “It’s about knowing deep down that a situation is eventually going to hurt you, but seeing things through rose-tinted glasses at the time. And then kicking yourself when everything goes to shit because you saw it coming from the start. Tragic!”
Sasha’s Ouch is released 29th November and will be available via all digital platforms.
