Dinosaur City Records is excited to announce the release of our third annual mixtape, premiering right now via Noisey.A 23-track compilation of mostly unreleased tracks, it’s a celebration of independent music from Sydney and beyond.
Highlights include low-fi gems of Body Type’s Sophie (Tuffence Meringue) and Annabelle (Solo Career), post-punk numbers from Nasho and Hugh M. Hominid, an indie-pop hit from Boat Show’s Ali Flintoff (Denise Le Menice) several synthy tracks fromGreenwave Beth, FRANK, Mezko and Bourgeoise Earth,plus tracks from a couple of bands we discovered during our recent trip to the states for SXSW, including latest DCR signees, Navy Gangs. (Speaking of, our friends at Burger Records have teamed up with us to release the compilation in the USA)!
