Adding to the Hidden 2019 line up – announced today, Bronx-born rapper Wifisfuneral is heading to Australia for the first time ever. Recently featured by FADER and Noisey – the 21 year old rapper has captured attention in the US with tracks like ‘Juveniles’ with YBN Nahmir and ‘Lilskiesfuneral’ with Lil Skies. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of the control of organisers, Ski Mask the Slump God will no longer be appearing at Hidden 2019.
The Perth single-stage event Hidden announced last November its evolution into a national touring festival with dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and their forever home Perth. That came with the reveal of their mega line-up, includinghugely hyped rapper Lil Yachty, J.Cole’s protégée and triple j favourite J.I.D, heavy dance expert Kayzo, UK melodic trap icon Troyboi, Skrillex collaborator Moody Good, US electronica queen CRAY, dark dubstep trio Gentlemen’s Club, and Adelaide’s trap goddess Godlands fulfilling it’s rap and bass requirements. Rounding out the lineup with Perth based future bass producer AVANCE joining Hidden in Sydney and Perth with fan favourite and trap mainstay Hydraulix joining the lineup in Brisbane.
Hidden kicks off this weekend taking over Auckland’s Ellerslie Racecourse and Brisbane’s Victoria Parklands. Hidden’s Sydney event takes place next weekend and will be one of the first events of its kind under the new NSW regulations. On the Sydney event Hidden’s Zac Montague commented,“After two years of successful, safe and sold out events in Perth, it’s been a dream of ours to bring Hidden to Sydney. We are incredibly excited to be supporting Sydney music events in a time when we need it most, so vote with your feet and get out and attend your favourite events, we need your support more now than ever.”
