The Killers Announce Run Of NYC Performances On Album Release Week The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Global Citizen Festival, and More! Global Smash “The Man” Hits #1 At Triple A Radio
The Killers are set to release their highly anticipated new album Wonderful Wonderful on September 22nd on Island Records. In celebration of the album, the band will perform a string of special performances in New York City. Beginning with a show for SiriusXM on September 19 at Brooklyn Steel for SiriusXM subscribers (which will air live on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation channel), and continuing with a performance of current hit single “The Man” on Late Night With Stephen Colbert on September 21, the band will have their own special record release show at Terminal 5 in Manhattan on September 22before closing out the week with a set at this year’s Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, September 23rd.
Wonderful Wonderful is the band’s fifth studio album, and first in five years. Produced by Jacknife Lee, it was recorded at the band’s own Battle Born recording studio in Vegas, and at Jacknife’s Los Angeles studio. It has already spawned a worldwide hit in its first single “The Man,” which has topped the Triple A radio chart, as well as countless radio charts around the globe.
