Amsterdam meets New York as Melting Pot and Heverlee close off the summer at Queen’s Park Arena with Detroit Swindle and Tim Sweeney (Beats in Space, DFA, NYC) joining a stellar line-up for this summer’s final dance in the park
Melting Pot concludes their superb series of Parties in the Park with one of their biggest line-ups to date for the final dance of this summer.
Dutch house men of the moment Detroit Swindle will be closing the event alongside New York’s Tim Sweeney; internationally renowned DJ and founder of the Beats In Space Radio Station, record label fo the same name and DFA Records . Local heroes WSHOM (We Should Hang Out More) and Ali Ooft will provide the soundtrack in the Heverlee Village.
From 4pm – 10pm on Sunday the 11th of August, Queens Park will be transformed into one huge outdoor dancefloor with its iconic bandstand at the center.
Following the sellout success of the first weekend takeover, the upcoming parties will boast a few new additions to the site including the Heverlee Beer Village with its own DJs, street art, Belgian food, ice cold Belgian beer and more.
With an added increase in overall capacity and in the number of sparkling street performers, the upcoming Sessions promises to be the biggest and best disco that’s been thrown in Glasgow yet.
