Lucy’s imprint Stroboscopic Artefacts is launching a new series of transparent 10” vinyl entitled Totem Series that will kick off with an EP by Lucy on June 18th, and followed by an EP by L.B. Dub Corp aka Luke Slater on August 31st, opening the label range to a wider and warmer sound aesthetic.
Just on the heels of the label’s outstanding project ‘Flowers From The Ashes: Contemporary Italian Electronic Music’, Stroboscopic Artefacts presents the Totem series to continue to investigate forward leaning electronic music. Through the relation between sound and material object, the label has chosen the 10” format to perceive each “Totem” as an emblem of a specific artist/release.
On the first chapter the label boss Lucy delivers his well-known nuanced sound processes featuring a monologue of Russian cult classic film director Tarkovsky’s in “Stalker”.
