Hot on the heels of their debut album release late last month, STRANGE PLANES have unveiled a trio of video sessions recorded live in London.
Live At The Lab documented the sessions which include album-tracks ‘East Berlin Comfort Zone’, ‘South Of OK’ and ‘Darkness Here’.

Known for their raucous, shout-along live shows, Strange Planes deal in driving rhythms and gnarled guitar stabs. Their dark and intense songwriting successfully holds a British lens to the indie-punk of groups like Meat Wave, Rozwell Kid & The Dirty Nil.
Travelling to Chicago, USA in May this year, the London punk trio began work on their debut album ‘South Of OK’ following up on formative EP’s ‘EP One’ (2014) and ‘Night Terrors’ (2017).
Recorded at Steve Albini’s famous Electric Audio studio complex over the span of a fortnight the band employed the services of Greg Norman (Pelican, Russian Circles and Neurosis) and later Alan Douches (Beach Slang, Camp Cope and Lemuria) for mixing and mastering.
‘South Of OK’ is available to order now and can be purchased HERE in a variety of formats including digitally, on CD and a special half black/half red vinyl pressing.
