Justin Mylo serves up an athemic love song for STMPD RCRDS on ‘Not Afraid’
Justin Mylo makes his long-awaited return to STMPD RCRDS this month as he unleashes his new anthem ‘Not Afraid’on the unsuspecting world. The track is the result of a writing session where Myloworked alongside three talented writers, with vocalist Trevor Guthrie providing the rousing vocal itself, recorded in the STMPDRecording Studios.
“I just love the theme of this song” says Mylo. “It’s about a man opening up to love, admitting he’s in love and not being afraid of it. I feel like we should dare to open up for our feelings more often!” A cute, swooning acoustic guitar line eases us into the track and sets a euphoric tone. Guthrie’s cracked, soulful vocals soon elevate the track to a higher plane. The track builds subtly but surely until it explodes into a heavenly breakdown where the vocals soar above energetic strummed guitars. The “not afraid” refrain rings out as the snares build the intensity and lead us to a sweet lead synth and bold, pulsing electro chords. All that’s needed to complete the package are some chunky beats and percussion that round off the track beautifully.
Justin Mylo is just 23 years old and has already played at leading festivals and clubs like Tomorrowland, Ushuaïa Ibizaand Omnia Las Vegas alongside Martin Garrix. He’s been making music since he was 14, and it was his 2016 collaboration with Garrix, Bouncy Bob, that put him on the map. His own Chasing Shadows tracks showed that he can achieve big things as a solo artist too. With his ON/OFF brand now spanning a radio show, a YouTube tour video series and a label, he is really going places.
Justin Mylo ‘Not Afraid’ is released on STMPD RCRDS on March 8.

Blinders returns with first release of 2019: ‘Relieve’
Polish genius Blinders has risen to become one of the most popular artists on STMPD RCRDS. A few months on from his mighty ‘Breach (Walk Alone)’ collaboration with label boss Martin Garrix and TV Noise hook-up ‘Fire’ comes his first smash of 2019.
Spooky atmospheres and thick pulses of electro bass set a moody tone before sweet, melancholy male vocals add a sense of emotion. The drop punishes you with chopped-up, manic synth trickery and slamming low end, all wrapped-up up in his trademark epic production style. Cool percussive builds lead to a maddening tribal beat that vocal soars high above. The bass melody teases back in as the track builds higher and higher, and when the beat slams back in the impact is absolutely immense.
Blinders is currently on tour of Asia, with dates already played to packed crowds in Myanmar and Vietnam. If this hot new single is a taste of what’s to come this year, it won’t be long before he’s rocking the biggest stages in the scene.
Blinders ‘Relieve’ is released this Friday 8 March via STMPD RCRDS.
